I'd say 160 lumens is good for cloudy days at most, or nights at bit dimmed setups.. Nice piece of equipment but not bright enough. Sure, in the night seems super bright, plus from close distance as well.. Try 2 blocks away in the full sunny day, and it is nearly non-visible... I'd be cautious.

I know I love biking and do it sometimes at night time through forest... I just love it - spend my childhood and teenage years biking in Poland. When people did not have internet - that was one of not to many of 'good times' thing to do with nature and friends.

And bet more efficient as well! I'm Polish. Back in old country 30+ years ago that what was used for bikes.. of course back than they were not as bright (no LED technology for bikes at least)... I'm assuming 1100 or 1200 lumens when patterned is probably equivalent to much brighter regular light...
