Two fat tire trikes: One with fork suspension; one without

Isn't most of the weight of a trike on the rear wheels? Not sure how effective a front shock is going to be unless you ride on very bumpy roads. Also have you looked at the Raleigh trike? This one can have a throttle and is a mid drive so will climb hills better...

    Stromer ST1 Display

Are your batteries 36 volt? If not, 40 volts is a very discharged 48 volt battery.

    Most rigid step-thru frame?

I really like my Raleigh Retroglide. Plenty stiff and the price was right.

    Actually hitting 28mph

My Raleigh class 1 Currie/Transx drive cuts out at 19 mph. Seems it's not just Bosch. Anyone know of a speed dongle that works for a Currie drive? I have looked and can't find one.

    Install electric on PFIFF Capo?

I'm sure where there is a will there is a way. Maybe a strong hub motor from luna might be a easier way.

    computer controlled mid drives

My Raleigh bike has a throttle, Curie drive or tranz x motor, and I love it. I have the retroglide style beach cruiser but they have a few different models with throttle capability.

Samsung 30q Batteries, BMS and Vruzend Kits - Atlanta Georgia

Storage is 3.8 resting voltage, 90% discharge is 3.7(resting voltage) and should never go under that. You can go down to 3.4 while under a load.

    Cordless Electric Lawn Mowers

I have a black % decker edger that has an attachment to make it a lawn mower and it mows my lawn no problem. These things have lithium batteries in them and they are powerful enough to mow just about any lawn. I use this one to edge my lawn when I'm done and it does it all on 1 battery with...

    Fireproof Battery bag

I would drill some holes on the top for venting. Maybe 5 or 6, 1/2 holes. The box is going to get red hot so I would put it on a piece of tile or stone so the bottom doesn't burn or catch anything on fire. Most of the fires on you tube are from small batteries. Our bike batteries are a lot...

    Fireproof Battery bag

I do the same as you AlanDB with my packs. If you put them in a flower pot, with a tile underneath it, then you only need 5 ft up which is lower than a ceiling. The pot will contain the other ways. But like I said, these packs don't catch fire for no reason. When you get a short, things happen...

    Fireproof Battery bag

It really doesn't matter to much what fire proof material you use as long as you use one that can withstand the 932 F temperature lithium can burn at. When a battery goes up, it sends flames shooting out up to 5 ft in the air. What you are trying to protect is the surrounding area that the...

Over-the-rack bag vs battery heat issues ?

Batteries don't generate that much heat that a bag would be a problem. If your battery does, then your battery is not up to the task. A Bosh 500 should be just fine.

    Fireproof Battery bag

The easiest and best option is a ceramic type flower pot. Get one just big enough to cover the whole battery. Also it helps to put the pot on top of a piece of tile. This will prevent any damage if a fire were to start and do it a lot better than a fireproof bag. Fireproof bags give a false...
