    New EBike

With this model bike, the OP can visit the store in Toronto, & take it for test ride to decide. Since the OP is in Toronto.
  2. Q

    New EBike

You're talking a Biktrix Duo on a serious discount now? The OP has a budget of $2,500(Canadian).
  3. Q

    New EBike

I think the OP is looking for a commuting ebike(but on mountain style bike).

Upper Speed Limit of Rad Runner 1?

I don't think you could get extra power to climb a big hill, if you could raise the speed limit to 24mph on a Rad Runner 1 bike. If I could go 25mph on it, I would also use it on occasion to go with car traffic.

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

The test ride you did on the $2700 Momentum, how much time were you allowed to do the test ride for? Did they charge you for it(the money could be deducted later, if you do end up buying from that LBS)? Have you asked the LBS for recommendations on the best e-bike for your needs?

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

Yes I know. The title of this thread is as a Priority Current class 3 bike. I think just about everybody as a owner will run it as a class 3 bike. That's what originally drew my interest to this bike(not as a class 1 bike).

    Priority Current: Class 3 Urban Mid-Drive Belt E-Bike, 500W, Integrated Removable 500WH Battery, 140 NM, $3300 S/M/L

At last check Enviolo Automatiq is like an extra $500 or $600. The Shimano Nexus Inter-5E has been discussed on this board before. Several people have mentioned it's low gearing is not low enough with a belt-drive configuration(when riding on any type of hilly terrain). And a e-bike professional...

    E-Bikes suddenly everywhere ?

You're talking about Mike or Chris Nolte? I found Mike constantly defending Aventon(he took great offense anything critical of Aventon), to a point of being offensive(even if I totally agreed with Mike).
  9. Q

    E-Bikes suddenly everywhere ?

Why is Chris Nolte not longer posting on the EBR forums? He's still a EBR forum member.

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

A pleasant surprise for me in Canada!!! Only discovered it this morning. Giant has the Giant Momentum Transend E+ bike with Class 3 28mph Yamaha motor available in Canada(it's available at bike shops in Canada that carry Giant bikes). Until now, I just assumed Giant wouldn't bring this e-bike to...

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

The Ride1Up LMT'D model you have not totally eliminated? You might want to also wait a short time, as Ride1Up is expected to announce soon(as soon as early this month) a brand new mid-motor Ride1Up model that will be fairly light(under 50 pounds with battery) & Class 3 top speed will similar...

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

Yeah sorry about that, I meant 2019 Specialized Turbo Vado 3.0 had the Specialized Brose 1.2 motor. The OP could test any Vado or Como bikes with Specialized Brose motors to see if it's strong enough for the hills it needs to conquer.
  13. Q

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

The other Specialized option is Vado 3, with the higher 28mph top speed, but it's uses the Specialized Brose 1.2E motor(less torque than Specialized Brose 1.2 motor from previous Como year edition). But Vado bikes are less upright than Como(changes can be made on your own, but it's extra cost)...

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

Yep, almost exactly word for word I was going to tell you. That's in addition what others have said before. It's best to test yourself as many bikes until you find the e-bike that's best for you. I'm in a much tougher situation in Canada, looking for a Class 3 bike. None of the major mid-motor...

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

When you rode the Giant Momentum Transend E+ going up the hills, were in the lower gear(you need to do that, so the Yamaha motor could help you the most)? Don't keep at a higher gear.
  16. Q

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

What's the weight of the Rize RX? I can't find the information at this point. That could be a issue for the OP.
  17. Q

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

Where are you now siqueirah in finding your sub-$3000 bike search? You have now tested the Giant Momentum Transend E+, & didn't like it(you mentioned in the other EBR thread that we both participated in). Maybe reconsidering and open to cadence sensor bike now?
  18. Q

Help What Bike to buy... 2020 Stunner X Mid-Drive or Stunner LT ...

Is this correct information on Biktrix website. The Biktrix Stunner X mid-drive bike has a cadence sensor, while the Biktrix Stunner LT rear-hub bike has a torque sensor(that's what listed at Biktrix site)? I thought it would be the other way around. That confused me. When watching a person in a...

Giant Momentum Transcend E+ vs Priority Current

Does that version of Enviolo CVT on Priority Current have the automatic shifting option?
  20. Q

Giant Momentum Transcend E+ vs Priority Current

The thing now is the Priority Current bike now has Shimano Inter-5E IGH, not Enviolo CVT 380. So you 2 are talking about different Priority Current bikes
