Humble opinion from an owner of Vado 5 who has test ride Tero. two different bikes no matter what pictures and specs say. One is a hybrid mountain ebike the other is street ebike. See @Stefan Mikes note above. he is right on.

Not sure if I understand your issue. Could it be that the torque sensor is detecting your power input to match it with proper assist? Your power input varies and motor is trying to adjust accordingly. Others will correct me @Stefan Mikes ??

As @Stefan Mikes said don’t worry. Lots of ebikes have some errors when new. Some goes away on their own, with firmware update, or worst case by Specialized stepping in and exchanging parts under warranty. It always works out eventually. we all have had these issues. Stay close to some of...

I Have Thule but I have seen and agree that 1up is the most solid and heavy duty rack in the market. My LBS recommended to a customer who was purchasing a very heavy bike. All metal components and very high weight capacity. Can’t recall what it is but should be above 70 pounds for each bike.

One more thing about Tero. Not sure if I am correct but my Vado 5 motor seems quieter than Tero’ motor. there was a hum specially when I was climbing. Vado is totally silence.

20mph is plenty speed for me. anything over that makes me nervous. seldom I ride with my son (the biker) and need 28mph. class 1 also makes it easier for insurance purposes. Class 3 insurance premium is expensive.

Almost never over 20mph. Class 1 is 15 or 20 mph??
