    JBL Handlebar Speakers

It is, I could ride further and get to some quiet but it's an easy and convenient morning workout for me.

    JBL Handlebar Speakers

I think I'll get the Wind-3. Where I ride every day noise is not an issue, my first stretch runs along a 55 MPH Parkway with RR tracks running parallel, then over an overpass with 45 MPH traffic and trains below onto a mostly abandoned stretch of shared bike/walkway along a drainage to a big...

    JBL Handlebar Speakers

I am looking at the JBL Wind 2 and the Wind 3. Reviews are good on the Wind 2 but not any feedback on the Wind 3 although it may be a better speaker at $79 vs the Wind 2 at $44. I want something small but decent sound, does not have to be loud or heavy on bass, anyone tried either of these...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Been riding about 13 miles/day, skipped 3 days while I was under the weather and rode the old bike one day so I have 300 miles on the Como already. Downloaded Mission Control and was able to dial down the assist to where I want it and scarcely using any battery at all for now and working on my...

If you are interested in Death Valley I recommend reading Death Valley in 49 by William Manly and Burro Bill and Me by Edna Calkins Price both easy reads and both available on Kindle. A couple pics, Death Valley Junction which used to be a jumping place with a luxury hotel and an opera house and...

SHOW us YOUR PIX here .... Odd, WeiRd ,UnUSuAl or EyE CaTchIng things from your rides

I love to be around water and boats but alas my destiny is this dry desert. Wet weather gear, what is that? We drive over to CA. now and then and hang around the coast, and once a year down to Puerto Lobos, Mexico to do a little fishing on the Sea of Cortez. Leaving in 3 weeks for Mexico as a...

Vado SLs in Death Valley Natl Park

That looks like a great time! We were there at Thanksgiving but without bikes. Stayed in Shoshone overnight and next day went sight seeing in the RV. Thanksgiving dinner at the Inn at Furnace Creek. If you haven't read it, Death Valley in 49 is a must read. What tires do you have on your bikes...

need input- the loop guidelines tucson,az

Enforcement will likely be done only on a complaint basis, just like Parkwise will not come into neighborhoods to look for violations unless a complaint is filed, or the neighborhood association agrees to regular patrols.

Yes I saw that on the signs and I saw what you are referencing under the guidelines. If you want to start a petition I suggest getting the retailer involved, they are the ones with the most to lose and they have the most resources when it comes to funding and people.

need input- the loop guidelines tucson,az

I'm not too worried, I always slow down around pedestrians and other bikes and very careful to keep watch behind with 2 mirrors. With the resources available I can't see much if any enforcement but like you said the biggest risk is probably the liability. I'd still like to know what they say...

Following....I ride every day Aviation East to Palo Verde to Kino Sports Complex to the Julian Greenway. Throughout the ride I go from city to county to city again. More ebikes than not. What can they say if you ride an ebike but don't use the power? I only use the power to climb the steep...

    Best Locks for Ebikes

Like I alluded to in my post we all know about the professionals and we all know the best defense is keeping it in a safe place as any lock can be defeated, I disagree with your blanket statement though that locks don't prevent theft. I will agree that they don't always prevent theft but they...

    Best Locks for Ebikes

I know this thread is a year old but I am researching lock options and have some input to share, and maybe since it's been a year there will be other options as well as other recommendations. I am currently looking to get a good chain and a good U-lock. I was impressed with the Hiplok and the...
