Hi Eric, yes to both. It never even crossed my mind how easy it is to walk away with a bike seat/post until I heard Court mention it in one of his videos. So I searched ways to secure bike seats and apparently kids from NYC have used this method for years and I think it also looks kinda cool too.

If you're considering the Electric Bike Company bike. I suggest to sign up for their mailing list at the bottom of their home page (they do have promotion discount codes, offers etc). ALSO you can order an EBC bike and try it out for 30 days, if you want to return it, they will pay for shipping.

Any suggestions for front rack/basket options for tahoe classic or even sport (suspension might pose a challenge) ?

As far as cruisers go, you might want to check out: Electric Bike Company Model C E-Lux Tahoe (classic or sport) Ariel Rider W-Class All have throttles though

Choco, If I may ask, what insurance company did you go with? what's the ballpark cost of insurance? and how many bikes are you starting out with? I have a daydream of perhaps doing rental in my neck of the woods (but probably unlikely since I don't have the stones lol) - life goals though!

with Electric Bike Company, you have 30 days after delivery to decide if you like the bike. If you don't, you can ship it back for free.

Personally I would see if you could find someone who could bend it back or see if the company will send you another rack.... Ummm... you CAN drill but usually that will also void any warranty on the frame if you don't want to drill, you could possibly use P-clamps but you might have to loose...

(If you're in SWFL I could lift it for you)... But in general, perhaps pay a kid like $20-50 to lift/load the bike onto your rack.
