    New Lectric Xpress

It seems that Lectric has been concentrating on the COMMUTER market with their second new commuter eBike in the last month. This one is a curious design because when you look at it...it looks just like a thousand other full size, non-folding commuter eBikes (i.e. it doesn't scream, Lectric at...

    Lectric One

If Lectric were to try selling that ONE model at $1700 more than the current "sale/freebee" price...they wouldn't sell very many. They are obviously looking at VOLUME selling to get back to being in the red on this new model.

    Lectric One

To get this model at the $2000 mark, it's obvious that Lectric had to buy a boat load of pinion gearboxes and carbon belt drives, so I would expect to a see a lot of marketing focus on this model. There is NO competition at this price point, so I think that Lectric just may pull off getting into...

    XP Lite Modified

I'd love to see a new XP Lite model with a carbon belt drive. It could still be priced below the XP 3.0 and I think most XP Lite fans would be willing to pay more for it. The 300 watt motor in my experience has been quite adequate so I could see staying with that motor, but getting rid of that...

So what's the guess on the new Lectric ONE product coming March 12?

I think its more like the XP Lite (on steroids as was said before). However given its a 1st generation product, I would not buy one. That's just me as I have never bought anything that is first generation. Also, being a "mid drive" model...why did Lectric discontinue the XPremium..?..I remember...

So what's the guess on the new Lectric ONE product coming March 12?

It appears this is TRULY targeted to pavement only commuters (replacing the car whenever possible). It is not for beginners, riders on a budget, it's not portable, or made for off road trails or RV people. I can also see using it for delivery services (with all that power, torque and being...

So what's the guess on the new Lectric ONE product coming March 12?

ONE way or another (pun intended)...this new offering will surely cause a lot of discussion and scrambling in the eBike space. Lectric keeps moving the goal posts on the rest of the field and boy, they have done it again. The range of models from the XP Lite to the new Lectric ONE... truly has...

So what's the guess on the new Lectric ONE product coming March 12?

This eBike is a BIG deal for the price...this from Electrek.."At this point, it seems like Lectric is just playing God with the entire e-bike market. I’m not exaggerating when I say this gearbox is extremely expensive. You literally couldn’t buy just gearbox for the price of this bike. It’s only...

So what's the guess on the new Lectric ONE product coming March 12?

Because this model is a non folding model, why not put a pop out battery right into the down tube like the XPeak has. I really hate that exposed battery located behind the seat as it cheapens the look a lot. Otherwise it's an eBike with features not found at that price.

So what's the guess on the new Lectric ONE product coming March 12?

Seems the word ONE is a strange departure from the XP naming convention.

New Lectric ebike coming? Anyone know or want to guess?

After watching a few new review videos on this new eBike...it's about 75 pounds. Also the idea of the easily removable front wheel is not so much to transport the bike...but to make it easy to ASSEMBLE the bike. That makes more sense. The bike ships completely assembled (all but putting on the...

New Lectric ebike coming? Anyone know or want to guess?

Removing the front wheel doesn't exactly make it transportable unless you have a strong back, a pickup truck, or a large SUV...and who wants to take the wheel off and put it back on....then go riding, and do it all over again to get home...then once you are home, you have to put the front wheel...

New Lectric ebike coming? Anyone know or want to guess?

It's clear they are treading into a market that they have previously avoided...non-folding (non-portable), 4x26" fat tire, OFF-ROAD eBikes. This model pretty much eliminates the RV and Truckers market which they built their business on, the urban commuter market (who prefer lighter, nimble...

New Lectric ebike coming? Anyone know or want to guess?

The new Lectric X-PEAK non folding, 4x26" fat tire mountain bike...is something I didn't see coming. This is a NICHE market, whereas their other offerings are more mainstream compatible with all ages. One guy who will LOVE this...Kev at KevCentral. I'm betting he was a tester for Lectric during...

New Lectric ebike coming? Anyone know or want to guess?

Ride 1 Up just released a new folding eBike called the PORTOLA for under $1000. Its clear they have fired a shot across the bow of Lectric eBikes as it has much of the same specs as the XP 3.0, but 2 of them are what I would have loved on my XPs...a battery that can be removed without unfolding...

New Lectric ebike coming? Anyone know or want to guess?

Considering that I just bought a new XP Lite a month ago...with my luck...it's gotta be an XP Lite 2.0. I say this because every time I buy a new Lectric eBike (I've had 3)...they come out with a new version a month later. I'm not sure what improvements they can do on the XP Lite because its...

Throttle available in petal assist mode lectric xp lite?

You must be in 1 of the 5 pedal assist modes....for the throttle to engage.

    XP Lite Max Charge Rate?

Be careful and do your research. Most eBike battery fires are due to using chargers other than what the manufacturer provided.

How Many Here Have Rotated the Stem on XP 3?

That is why I prefer to use an adjustable bike stem (0-90 degrees) to bring the handlebars closer. It doesn't affect the folding capability, and it allows for adjustment for different riders. There is no adjusting by just rotating the stem, It is what it is... and if I recall, it's about a 6"...

    XP Lite chain tension

Yeah I've seen that video many times...but my concern is that the initial chain tension coming from the factory is still TOO tight. The chain does make an obvious crunching sound, and according to that video,,,that is too tight. So my initial concern remains this...do I loosen the chain up, or...
