    Aventon App doesn't work SOLVED

EDIT: I found a post on Reddit that resolved this problem. It was to download the app to my tablet and sign up for an account on there. Then when I opened the app on the phone I could sign in. Using a Pixel 3 phone and Galaxy S7 tablet. We just got the Pace 500 for my wife. Love the bike, but...

New Pace 350 and 500 models

As the name indicates, the Pace 500 has a 500W motor not 750W.

New Pace 350 and 500 models

We were looking at the 500 for my wife and had actually agreed to buy one when I saw this new model. Unfortunately our LBS, which I really like, can't get it without buying ten bikes, so I ordered it online and will pay him to assemble (even though I could do it, I want to keep his good will)...

    Pace 500 TOD or TAP?

Asked a question and then figured out the answer, which I should have known before I asked. :)

Advice: first ebike under $2K USA

Not sure what put me off on Rad in my searching. Maybe something about non-standard components, or less than idea support, or that the current city 5 plus is pretty heavy at 64 pounds and pushes my budget at $2K. But I will take another look. Thanks.

Advice: first ebike under $2K USA

Thanks AHicks. I had ruled out bike rack mounted battery early on in my research. And I'm also pretty much ruling out the Soltera based on the tires, though I love many other things about it. (The Townie is now out for various reasons including no throttle.) I found a LBS that will assemble or...

Advice: first ebike under $2K USA

Thanks for the very helpful suggestions IndianaJoe. The tires on the Soltera are Kenda Kwest 700X35c which I take to be 26.5 x 1.3 inches. The are much narrower than the other bikes I am looking at and may be too thin for our taste. As for the jerky/surging PAS on the Pace 500, I have been...

Advice: first ebike under $2K USA

Thanks so much for the response, and for the corrections about suspension. That isn't a core feature for me so I obviously didn't pay enough attention and only mentioned it in relation to weight. I also realize that weight will not be an issue with riding--I should have mentioned that at our age...

First ebike- Compare Aventon Pace 350, Blix Sol Eclipse, or other options

Yes, the too fast was part of the same problem, I too hope it was fixed. I found a few threads on the whole topic that will be of interest if you (and we) choose the Pace 500. https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/known-issues-problems-with-aventon-products-help-solutions-fixes.25542/...

First ebike- Compare Aventon Pace 350, Blix Sol Eclipse, or other options

I don't know where you are in "upstate NY,", but we are in Syracuse with similar questions (see my post). The Pace 500 is on our short list but I was also concerned about reports of the PAS1 being too strong or "surging." I found a notice from Aventon that they had addressed this issue, but if...

Advice: first ebike under $2K USA

My wife and are in our late seventies and fit, and weigh between 140-160 lbs. We are looking for a city/commuter bike that we will take on streets and the Erie canal path but not mountain biking. Step through for her and non-step for me. We have some moderate but not steep hills where we live in...
