@dfaulk how is the 1up treating you? Are you using it with a bike that has fenders? I am thinking of getting one but I am concerned about the pressure of the mechanism on the rear tire fender. I dont want to have it crack and break while driving on bumpy roads

@Taylor57 Do you use the rack with a bike that has fenders? Any issues? I know they can sell foam pads but I wonder if the fender is prone to breaking under the pressure of the wheel lock and road bumps.

Looks nice but brings me to another question. What is the difference between normal racks and RV approved racks? Dont they all go into the same receiver and hold the same bikes?

Thanks. I will check it out. I just am leery sometimes when it comes to cheaper racks. You spend so much on a bike I dont want to get a cheaper rack and have it fall off while driving. It helps to know you have had no issues though.

My brain is about to explode looking at hitch racks for my 2 new Rize RX bikes. I really like the 1up Super Duty rack because it looks beefy and looks like it will outlast my car. Unfortunately, the way it holds the bikes on the rack may not be the best for my Rize RX bikes (due to the fenders)...

I have two Rize RX bikes on preorder and I need to look at getting a 2" hitch carrier. Is there any suggestions on which to look at? What do you use and how do you like it? I was looking at the 1up Super Duty but it has arms that hold the tire. How do you do that when you have fenders?

@ruffruff Thanks, I should have been more specific than just 50+. Box makes two options for ebike cassettes; 12-50T and 12-46T. I imagine the difference between the two are not much difference but not sure why you choose one or the other...

So moral of the story is if you break a cog or want to change a cassette, 12T (smallest cog) is better than 11T for longevity on a mid-drive ebike. What you gain in durability outweighs what minimal speed loss you may have. Next question is if it really makes a difference for the biggest cog to...
