WW UC Pro and beyond - color and personalization options

If you are spending 5-6k on a bike, getting "just the right color" for a mere $250-$300 extra will be very attractive I would think. I am currently browsing through the flat/matte greens :)

First ride with the Archon X1 upgrade!

For those that ordered the super bike with 2300 W, will this programming cable be the way to tune down to 1000? If so, is the cable included?

Talk About The Kindernay Gear System

@pushkar one of the factors that might be interesting for people thinking about the Kindernay route would be multiple wheel sets. I believe the max width tire is 3" on the superbike, would those fit on the stock rims or require a different rim? Are there any wheel set options you think would...

Ideal display for Watt Wagons (future feature)

This one makes me a little nervous. The implementation would need to be bulletproof. I would hate to be in a situation where the bike won’t power because of a broken/malfunctioning display. One thanksgiving I stopped for gas in the middle of nowhere on the way to see family. Car wouldn’t start...

Ideal display for Watt Wagons (future feature)

YES! I hate having to lower my sunglasses to view a display. @pushkar what about the water resistance?

    Fox 36 E

Couple questions about this new upgrade option: 1. Who should be considering upgrading to this fork? Off-roaders and trail riders? 2. Is the $850 upgrade price correct? MSRP on the Auron looks to be 699, 1099 for the Fox.

Talk About The Kindernay Gear System

Something for current superbike buyers to consider. This is a $200 upgrade from the Rohloff?

Full suspension with Belt drive - why ?

My experience with Bosch and Brose motors have been the same as yours. Low 20s is pretty easy. Maintaining 28 is hard work and couldn't be done indefinitely. This was on Trek and Specialized bikes, but since Bosch is a closed system you are going to have a very similar experience on any bike...

Full suspension with Belt drive - why ?

My initial interest in a full suspension belt drive bike stemmed from the desire to have one bike for anything. For me that was commuting and trails. I’m a bit of a minimalist so in looking for my first ebike over the last several months I was hoping to find an ebike that was great at both so...

    Frey

The frame is aluminum. One battery is fully integrated into the frame. The X1 does not have a Rohloff or belt drive (this combo alone is easily worth $2k). Pushkar is giving a 3 year warranty while Luna's is much more limited. Also free upgrades (~$500 worth) for a year.

Any interest in committing to pre-launch price for a limited run hard tail superbike ? Round One Pricing added- through April 11th.

I was very close to getting an FLX Blade 2.0 that is similarly priced, then @tomdav linked to this thread and I’m so glad he did. Pushkar’s bike is superior in every way, he really is building something special. I think the value being offered here is outstanding, especially at the founder's price.

    Trek Allante+

From their site: We made the custom 500 Wh battery to be fully integrated with the frame, removable for easy charging, and lockable for added security. https://www.specialized.com/us/en/turbo-vado-4-0/p/170303 Is it an upgrade option?

    Trek Allante+

I didn’t end up getting either of them. I have a Trek dealer blocks from my house and was hoping to be wowed by the 8s but it just didn’t happen. Another thing I didn’t like was the rack system with pannier only. I liked the Vado’s rack as well as the front fork it came with. The allant has a...

    Trek Allante+

I’ve test ridden both and I recommend you do the same if you can even if you have to take a drive. The allant motor noise is much more noticeable than the Vado. Pedal assist and overall ride was also smoother on the Vado from what I recall but not much more so. The battery was a pain to put...
