    2022 700 model battery change?

I have a one year old 700 with the Shengyi. The power output will change with the charge on the battery and the power percentage setting for the PAS assist level you are using. I have my highest assist level set to 100%, and with a good charge (yet not full charge), it will max out my power...

    2022 700 model battery change?

Saw this posted over on the Ride1Up FB group also.

A comparison between the Limited and the 700

It looks Ride1Up is going to change how the throttle works when using PAS in the near future. Kevin from Ride1Up posted on Facebook a short time ago: "It's variable unless your PAS is already engaged. If PAS/motor is already engaged, on current generations, it will act as a boost. This comment...

Suggested price for a Specialized Como 3.0 650b - Low-Entry? Used only once!

New unused Como 3.0 about 90 miles from me for $2950. It's been there for months. I had called in to confirm. I think it's a 2021 model - crimson/black, step-over.

New : Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH Belt Drive

Yeah, I posted about that a couple days ago in another thread. It looks like some info in that review may be incorrect: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/specialized-turbo-vado-como-tero-user-club.31893/page-134#post-508232

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I think Court didn't check and was going by the spec sheet. Here's what it shows on the U.S. Specialized site for the three 2022 Vado bikes mentioned: Factoring in the comparisons in the pictures of the bikes and the Polish site specs saying 48T for the 4.0 ST, I think the U.S. site is in...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

In reference to the new 2022 models of the Vado, I see the new EBR review of the Vado 4.0 Step-Through says it has a 40T chainring. Court even states verbally that it's a 40T. Specialized's website confirms that. Yet, the Specialized website says the Vado 4.0 Step-Over has a 48T chainring...

Bike recommendation for lightweight and good range.

0-9 was the max, but it's very unlikely it would have been defaulted even to 0-9. Just like my 700, the 0-5 seems to be the standard default. At least over the last two years, not sure about some of those much earlier Ride1Up generations as there is so little feedback back during those times...

Bike recommendation for lightweight and good range.

Something is wrong there. If you're on the default PAS range of 0-5, and you are only going 13-14 mph in PAS 4 (out of 5) on a flat road, something isn't right. You should probably be going over 20 mph. I use the 0-7 range on my R1U 700 with custom power set for each assist level to my...

A comparison between the Limited and the 700

That person was referring to how touchy the throttle is and that it's hard to regulate for that reason, and others have said that also. I don't remember if I responded to that comment. But there is a technique to help regulate, but I see you already mentioned it. Yeah, I think with a 100%...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Of course, I really need test ride the 2021 Como and 2022 Vado to see if I like them and which feels right for me. I did find another Specialized dealer that is a 3 hour round trip in a completely different direction that actually has a 2022 Vado 4.0 in L in stock along with the same Como 3 as...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I don't have a local LBS, but finally contacted a Specialized dealer that is a 3 hour round trip from me to check on availability. They said they didn't know if and when they would get a 2022 Vado. They did confirm they have a previous year crimson M/L Como 3.0 in stock listed for $2950. I'm...

    A very disorganized, 9-month, 700-mile, Ride1Up Series 700 Review

My 700 feels pretty much as light as my 35 pound Trek hybrid once I'm up to about 10 mph on level ground, so that's why I ride in PAS 0 with no assist most of the time and get good exercise. The hills are a little tougher, but I can add some PAS and shift down as needed. The 700 is geared...

Commuting ebike in the middle of nowhere

I originally was looking at the Aventon Level but ended up going with the Ride1Up 700 for various reasons, and I have no regrets. With a combination of PAS and pedaling, I get up the big hills a lot easier and faster than I got up them on my 35 pound hybrid bike. So, if your legs are strong...

$499 sale? Are you sure? I thought the lowest the Aero sold for over the holiday season was $799.

Bike recommendation for lightweight and good range.

Slow on flat roads, huh? How slow? And how strong of winds? The current gen Ride1Up 500 can go 28 mph with PAS, and once I'm up and moving on my even heavier Ride1Up 700, I've found weight not to be much of a factor until going up hill. Strong winds can slow down any bike, regardless of...

    A very disorganized, 9-month, 700-mile, Ride1Up Series 700 Review

The Verve's lowest gear is much lower than the 700's lowest gears so that would make the "first crank" easier, especially combined with how the mid-drive takes advantage of the lower gears, but the 700 has the advantage of much higher gearing on the top end, so you can ride and pedal at fast...

    A very disorganized, 9-month, 700-mile, Ride1Up Series 700 Review

Does that use a Bosch motor like the Trek Allant+ ? I've heard some motor noise complaints. If you wanted a quiet mid-drive bike, the Ride1Up model you should be comparing to is the Prodigy, which uses a quite Brose drive system.
