It does seem that I kind of now what I am getting more with the RadRover rather than BPM. So a direct drive motor is hub motor that doesn't use gears? I see what you mean about the picture, from the video review that I did watch earlier it is a geared hub motor and not what the picture shows.

Thanks for the input, if the tires are pretty rigid at 20 psi then I guess much higher psi might be a bit jarring.
