    Hydra question

Oh that "harness" is the cable I guess. But I'm nit sure if that only allows their firmware updates or not. I think it must allow programming. Thank you.

    Hydra question

I'm confused about if we can reprogram the hydra motor or if it is locked? It looks like on the page it can't be changed. If I get the bafang stock controller I think I could reprogram it to use less power like the x1 but with more freedom?

    Hydra question

So I have submitted a ticket with Watt Wagons with some final questions about the bike like the frame size in inches for the large and about the 750w nominal vs 1000w nominal. I'm thinking about maybe getting the 750w nominal as 28mph is still pretty fast and not quite as suicidal as 35mph lol...

    Hydra question

Thanks for all the answers guys, I think I just have to decide now. I think I will probably go with the Hydra since its so light weight and the battery should still get me where I want to go. It not my first ebike though as I have had a RadRover for a year but it is my first in this price range...

    Hydra question

I won't be doing any jumps, if I do any they will be tiny jumps lol. I'm not real into the technical trail riding more casual offroad and pavement riding.

    Hydra question

The Hydra is actually a bit more than I got quoted for the Frey EX Advanced with dual batteries and some accessories. For the Frey is $4755 including shipping and tax.

    Hydra question

Yeah the hydra is carbon and Frey is aluminum. Carbon is lighter but might destroy the frame if I crash.

    Hydra question

Thanks for the information Acme it is helpful, the only thing holding me back from the Frey is controller stuff. I know it can probably be reprogrammed but I don't know what can be fixed by that and what can't. Since you had a Frey bike I have some questions about that. With the stock...

    Hydra question

Hello I have looked at the hydra model and might get the archon x1 unlimited motor with the 3'' tires. Since this has a better controller what range do you get out of the 17.5ah on pavement/off road? Also how do you rate the suspension of the bike. Might get this bike or a Frey EX Advanced but...

Juggernaut FS Ultra vs Frey EX

Hey Roshan, I still might be interested in the ultra fs PRO model but I wanted to know if I would be able to buy a second battery and a rear fender of some sort to store it on? And would the rear shock be ok with that weight on it? I wouldn't be doing jumps.

Juggernaut FS Ultra vs Frey EX

I know these motors should sound the same on each bike but for some reason it always sounds louder in the videos showing the sondors rockstar. You would think it would be less noise if anything since its power is lowered.

Juggernaut FS Ultra vs Frey EX

Think its either the Frey or wait until some company makes something like the biktrix ultra fs that they are discontinuing for a downgraded model. I don't want to get the sondors rockstar until there are more reviews for it. Seems information on that bike is more scarce than the Frey.

Juggernaut FS Ultra vs Frey EX

I might just get the rockstar and use the savings for better suspension and other stuff. Can the rear suspension be upgraded on that do you know? I don't know if there is a lot of compatibility for those things or not.

Juggernaut FS Ultra vs Frey EX

Yeah it looks like it's the cheapest rockshock fork that costs about 230. I'm guessing tarrifs are making them downgrade the hardware and increase the price.

Juggernaut FS Ultra vs Frey EX

Might do the FS Ultra, not sure so need to research the range more and its front suspension is not that great.

Juggernaut FS Ultra vs Frey EX

If I got two though i would either have to come back for the other one or carry it with me. I would need a way to mount the second battery on the bike like on a rear fender or something but that will throw the balance off. Sent Frey some more questions about the bike and the shipping process to...

Juggernaut FS Ultra vs Frey EX

I asked their support some questions about the bike over the weekend and they replied "Thanks for getting in touch. Just so we're both on the same page, there is a pretty good chance that the Ultra FS isn't going to be restocked - it has been replaced with the Ultra FS Pro, at least for the...

Juggernaut FS Ultra vs Frey EX

So some bad news is that the ultra fs is most likely not coming back in stock. So that leaves just the new pro version with a smaller battery. Or the rockstar from sondors which I'm not sure about. The rockstar does leave price room for upgraded suspension but it's even heavier than the Frey...

    New Frey Owners

I see, thanks for the help, I think my decision on the Frey will come down to the wait time anf total price. I'm still waiting for info from them on that.

Juggernaut FS Ultra vs Frey EX

So are you saying the bitrix has the better cells or the Frey?
