    Abrubt Acceleration.....

Is this a veiled sales pitch? I want an unTamed bike! At least to bronc-ride it for my 8 seconds... ;) I agree it's a matter of experience, as with most of riding and life. I still remember the big Grin that first-pedal lunge produced on my first electric test ride -it was all I needed then!

Send us pics of your ebike... loaded with groceries!

Sorry, I promised my bike 6 years ago that I'd never make it be my grocery-getter... Though I do love some of the spirit and choices expressed here, and get kicks and laughs with the photos!

    Bike Seat

Nice sales practice, though I don't recall ever making a decision on a saddle change -or not- in one week. I'm sure I can ID a clearly-rejectable one, but not a keeper. Heck, Amazon gives you 30 days: Order two or three, and keep the one you like, or try two or three more :p

Are Slime Sealing tubes safe ?

I've had green-slime tubeless ones on mine since new -for six years, with no flats, though I don't ride on especially flat-prone surfaces or terrains. The guy gave me the rest of the bottle after installing them, but I've never needed it: I've wondered whether that stuff lasts forever -it is...

    Bike Seat

Disclaimer: I am not recommending this as a 40-miler; I'm sure I've never ridden my electric that distance, and I doubt that I would do that to any part of my body. As Mr. Coffee notes, it's a complex question, and he makes good points. I've also learned like others, over the decades, that less...

Which is easier to repair/replace: hub or mid drive motors?

My 6-year old Easy Motion has a hub motor that is still going strong and I've figured all along that it will outlast the battery. Thank you BH! If not, I'm confident I could get another wheel and hub or just hub to get it back on the road without too much trouble. Still, a quality replacement...

MA's DCR set to ban "pedal assist ebikes" from ALL state park/forest "natural surface" trails

Certainly, there must be a load of non-State-Park-and-Forest natural-surface trails to discover, explore, and enjoy in lovely Massachusetts. Disclaimer - only one of my three natural-surface bikes is a "pedal-assist electric".

Considering a used ATOM Lynx 4.8 27.5 Pro. Quality?

That's a very nice bike, and a good manufacturer, of course. I am not familiar with the bike, but I like that Brose motor. Easy Motion was one of the first to employ it, and with it, was able to follow the BH design principle of building the battery into the frame and going for the "regular"...

    New member needs ebike advice!

First, TT: all ebikes are easy to pedal; indeed, that is their prime logic. I ride a 6-year-old hub-drive Easy Motion, I'm thankfully into my 8th decade, and mine pedals so smilingly-easy that anything easier would have to be laughably-so. Any ebike should make you smile on your first pedal, and...

    From Our Friends at BH

I've lurked for years, but I registered to post and DEFEND the Easy Motion name from this onslaught!! I ride one of their original models and in 6 years have never felt there is anything silly about the brand. In fact, I think my EZ Motion looks as cool as anything BH or any pretender has...

Hello from Montreal - and advice please.

How about Scooteretti in Montreal? They have one of the broadest selections in existence, at least from their website: who knows what they actually stock. Here's a link to their BH e-bikes, which I'm partial to because I ride one of their earliest models...
