First ride report & Low voltage setting for CCX

I'm glad I don't work with you Thomas, you'd write a thesis just to change a light bulb. My way of lubing a chain: spray it till soaked and bam it's lubed. My way of lubing an electrical contact: clean if necessary then spray with appropriate lube/spray and bam we're done. I'm a true follower of...

    Non Juiced brand battery purchase

For another 52v 19ah battery we'll be saving for a long time Bruce. To me the cost of that battery is excessive but it's just an ignorant opinion of the tech involved. Now you can get the 13ah batt for $700 and that's a bit more palatable. I'm going to use the hell out of my current batt 52v...

    Brian's CCX Journal

I haven't removed the battery since I got the bike, really no need to yet. It seems worse case scenario a person could hook up a male female plug and just do away with the oem setup. The hole looks like it's a quarter size and pushing surplus wire back into the battery case or the holder...

Wonder if there is a fuse that popped, or is there a reset button like a lot of gadgets have?

Wonder if the spacers on the axle might not be in the right place for the tire to rub?

So far for me the throttle has 2 positions, off or full blast. There's only about 1/2 of travel on it and it's hard to hold it steady at say 1/2 way, maybe it's the gloves I wear and mostly my rides have been in the 40's temp range.

You do know Brooks saddles were invented by the gov secretly to control population growth by killing the male reproductive organs.

Schwalbe Marathon Plus a lot worse than stock Kenda tires!

Anyone who's ever bought a dual sport m/c that comes with DOT knobbies can tell you that 60/40 Metzler tires makes a world of difference in wear and quality of ride with those new tires. I just don't see why a bicycle would be different. To each his own this is just my opinion, there's no right...

    Protective bike jackets?

There's lots of light body protection to choose from. I have a high vis wind breaker with elbow/back/shoulder protection, plus Kevlar lined for abrasion resistance in the obvious skid areas. It has a liner that can be removed for even lighter weight/feel. You can buy just tshirts w/armor...

So Ion and Polymer are the same chemistry? If so why the different names, just curious from ignorance.

Schwalbe Marathon Plus a lot worse than stock Kenda tires!

Knobby tires wear out fast on the pavement and ride like crap. Plus no traction at all and that's from m/c experience.

Schwalbe Marathon Plus a lot worse than stock Kenda tires!

Speaking of flats, my wife has had 3 flats in 3 months on her Kia. Never in my life have I had to fix so many in such a short period of time. All were caused by phillips head self driving screws construction crews use. It's been years since I've had a flat on my truck, can't remember when it's...

Charging to 80% without a Satiator

You guys are confusing the hell out of a lot of us that rely on others knowledge/advice. Shouldn't Juices V chart from their website be used to be accurate? All input is welcome but please be accurate. These 19ah 52v batteries are expensive to replace.
