    Ebike for towing

They will most likely need to switch out the stock through axel in the rear wheel and get a trailer through axel like ones made by Robert Axel Project. I had to get one for my Specialized Turbo Vado to pull my Burley trailer. The FAQ in the Robert Axel Project website says the weight limit is...

    My shopping basket

Trying out this Craftsman Versastack tote for a crate ($21), mounted it to my Racktime rack on my Turbo Vado using the adapter. Could technically stack additional Craftsman/Dewalt storage units but dont want it to be too tall

    Vado mount & dismount

I mount the same way. Just make sure the medal is at the lowest point before pushing off and you wont get an unexpected boost. You dont even need to be really moving, just use it as a step and then start pedaling

    Why an E-Bike and Not a G-Bike??

Ya no thanks. part of the ebike reasoning is charging at home, and possibly for free with solar. plus gas is dirty, go green. ebikes can be had for less than $1000, they are not that out of reach economically

Have you noticed that the vast majority of ebikes are "recreation-focused?"

I actual use mine to commute but its less than 10 miles each way. Our city is moving towards more bike lanes, and seem like many are as well. I see more and more protected two way cycle tracks which is exactly what bikers need to feel safe to commute. Once you get the infrastructure in place...

Car manufacturers see the writing on the wall about personal electric vehicles

Cities are going away from car parking as well, if you are not taking transit or a bike you'll be paying high fees or hiking it into downtown

Have you noticed that the vast majority of ebikes are "recreation-focused?"

It's not preferences or technology that limits the speed. There's laws that regulate the speed the motor puts out. You can get a 2000W ebike but it no longer qualifies as a bike. Technology improves every year and batteries and motors will get smaller and smaller just like all electronics
