Has anyone changed the freewheel on the Lectric 2.0?

You can still use the new freewheel. You will have to adjust the deraileur. Watch the Park Tool video on YouTube . It's actually pretty easy when following the video.

What's a good second power adapter for the Lectric XP Step Through

More power can't be done without changing controller & motor. Did you mean more capacity/range? If so I've been down that road and first tried a separate 20ah (vs stock 9.6ah) mounted to the rear rack. Then became concerned about creaking noises at the hinge & latch and suspected the battery...

excited new rider and a few questions

    1. Should not click, find the thumb screw at the end of your shifter cable nearest to the rear wheel at the derailleur. Rotate it 1/2 turn in either direction. If that fixes it your done, if not turn one full turn in the opposite direction. Tip: use some white out to mark a small dot on the...

    Issue with Folding frame latch

Bear in mind that I have a xp 1.0, it appears that the pin in mine is press fit. Press fit works just like a nail in wood with the slightly pointed end being pounded in with a hammer and the tight fit keeping the pin in. You will need a proper sized punch to reach down into the hole, then tap...

Have any XP riders hit the beach yet?

Live at the beach in Florida. Stock xp is perfect for the beach. Use walk mode in the soft sand to get the bike to waters edge. Watch out for the holes kids love to make they tend to blend in and surprise you! Have fun

    Lectric Battery Replacement

https://www.amazon.com/Unit-Power-Warehouse-Ebike-Battery/dp/B098JK1Z9Z/ref=sr_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=unit%2Bpack%2Bpower&qid=1625364802&sr=8-12&th=1 is what I used. The battery is larger so won't fit the old rack but this link is a combo rack and battery. I just cut the old connector on the...

what's the the handlebar width on the xp 2.0? Thanks much.

I only know the 1.0 is only 575mm, I know the 2.0 is wider. I suspect the 2.0 is the next standard size up at 620mm. Any wider would probably be too much leverage on a folding stem and would likely make it less "foldable".

Lectric XP review: one year, 3200 miles later and I still love it!

Hope this thread isn't too old. I'm updating my earlier comments as I've put an additional 1600 miles on my bike for a total of 3200. Just like getmac, I contacted Lectric just prior to the warranty running out about battery issues. They are sending me a replacement, thanks Lectric. So looks...

When your XP arrived, was there a toolkit included?

You won't find a good ready made kit. There is a slight difference between carry along tool kit vs a complete kit. Focus on the must have carry kit if you are riding far from home distances that would bother you to walk the bike back. There is a huge difference in mechanical skill and...

When your XP arrived, was there a toolkit included?

Front axle 15mm, rear 18mm (to accommodate the power through cable), allen wrenches 5mm, 4mm and rarely needed 3.5 for the slider latch that keeps the main latch from accidentally opening.

When your XP arrived, was there a toolkit included?

No tools needed to assemble. No tools come with it. I'll post the sizes here in a few.

Yes, walk mode can be enabled on any PAS when the bike is at a standstill.

    Need suggestions for tire replacement

I'm pretty sure at 28mph that 8oz of slime in the tire is not an issue. But to fill enough in the much larger car tire to be effective guessing 32oz at 70mph is likely why it's not recommended for cars.

    Need suggestions for tire replacement

Need to carry two bikes in a Tesla

23 1/4" for the primary CST 20x4 Tire Lectric uses the most. Should be real close on the alternates as well. Very little difference between brands of 20x4 Knobby tires .

Need to carry two bikes in a Tesla

The bikes do not come with a latch to keep them in a folded position. Bungees don't hold tight enough. I found these hook & loop straps with metal buckle to work well. They are also super handy to use with the cargo rack on the Lectric. 24" is what I use the most, sometimes the longer 36"...
