Well, he hasn't changed the May 31st message on shareroller.com so that's a positive sign. June 1st was for shipping crowdfunded purchases; pre-orders are his retail purchases and he never said when those would actually SHIP. I think he's close, but this isn't a guarantee, there are tons of...

Haven't gotten an email about mounting selections yet; I'm estimating mid-June, hopefully....Jeff's gotta have a couple weeks to sort out people's add-ons, credit uses, etc., before he can start shipping. Having it for this summer would be fantastic. Fingers crossed and lighting candles to the...

Jeff is done "playing" now; should be shipping in the next two months (fingers crossed). While I see what you are saying about the market moving on, I still don't believe there is a sub-6 pound (or sub-5 pound) easily removed solution out there. For folks who care about weight added to an...

I went back and looked at the chart Jeff posted on the initial campaign, and it looks like PAS is less efficient in battery range than either light throttle or tailwind. That's assuming I am reading this correctly. So I think I will wait on the PAS initially and see how it goes.

When I first returned to cycling after a 20 year absence, I got a dedicated e bike which I later sold once I got in shape. It was throttle only. I found I used the throttle to clear intersections/avoid traffic and to go up hills. I didn't use it for riding the flatlands. I think (could be...

Thanks, Nirmala. Maybe Jeff will talk more about the benefits of the pas system (other than meeting legal criteria some places). For now, I'm not sure I need it for my usage. I'm assuming it could be added later on should needs change. I'm just chomping at the bit to get the SR; everytime I...

Ah...okay, that makes sense, thanks. So tailwind is basically like pas except it will cut out under 8mph; so tailwind would not be useful in climbing hills and one would need to thumb the throttle down to get assist. In that case, pas makes more sense if you want a mode that requires zero...

June 1st would be amazing...hope he's close on the time-frame with this posting. I wasn't going to do PAS because I figured the tailwind mode is almost the same, but now that it's wireless maybe I will. Just want to be sure that if you don't put the PAS sensor on, the SR will work without it...

I asked Jeff about the single mount, as I prefer that for my folding bike which benefits from the wheel weight and also doesn't have a great place to mount batteries (I will use a handlebar bag at first I think). He said it would come later, that he was focused on getting the split mount...

Happy to see there is demand out there for SR even at retail. I really hope Jeff is highly successful; he's poured a lot into this, money and effort.

No matter what, I am sure the SR is going to please some folks and upset others. Hindsight is perfect and after this long delay, people will be picking it apart. Me...if it works more or less near stated range, and is reasonably durable, I will be happy. I don't care so much about the...

Well, if you bought in as a backer, there are NO returns. That's the major point of crowdfunding. If you purchase from Jeff as a retail unit (higher price) then there probably will be some sort of guarantee.

Jeff told me the mounts would be for the seperables units (at least at first) rather than all-in-one. They connect together for carrying, though. I actually prefer an all-in-one since the weight low over the front wheel on my folding bike is helpful, but I won't wait for that mount, I will...

You should check out the thread on the Helix (titanium KS bike) on bikeforums.net if you really want some entertainment, lol. Crowdfunding is, as I have learned to avoid a heart attack, something you do and then forget about. I just received a product in the mail I backed 17 months ago...

Trying to figure out all the cabling I see; looks like a cable on the last pic goes to the throttle (which is supposed to be wireless). The lights look great, and the black matte finish seems nice. Overall, it is very discrete looking. Summer is coming, hope the pics will be followed up soon...

I'm not interested in getting a fight with you. You made a bunch of assumptions about my initial post on this and were wrong ( seller received more than he paid and his needs changed having nothing to do with SR). Have you ever backed crowdfunded projects? I have...more than 10. And only one of...
