It looks like something you have to blow up, like a pool floatie.

    ToughRoad GX E+

Thanks Dave, a lot of good information. Had my first flat on Saturday with my Toughroad and it got me thinking. Swapping in a new tube was easy, but I had no idea what you do if you are tubeless.

How do you store your bike?

Like the first one byunbee posted. It would just be made of some sort of hard wood

How do you store your bike?

Might have to build one. I like the idea of bike shoes , helmet and bike at neatly stored on wall. Probably will incorporate charger as well.

    I could wait no longer

How does the new bike ride? Does it have different features than the long awaited Vado? I see it is a hub motor, does it have a throttle? How big of a battery?

Does anyone know a difference Battery buying option other than Giant. If there are other options, are the safe and worthwhile? My tech/battery knowledge is limited

New activities taken up during COVID-19

I just do it for fun. We had a metal can the Goldendoodle could open at will. Tired of picking up after his garbage capers.

New activities taken up during COVID-19

I have a drainage ditch I have to dig that I have been putting off all spring and summer. Those back break jobs are always so easy to push to the back burner

2020 : Our Rides in Words, Photos & Videos

Yesterdays ride was great until I got my 1st flat with this bike. Luckily it happened just a couple miles from home so my wife picked me up. Had the stuff to fix it on the road but it is always easier to change tube at home. Still got to enjoy the scenery prior to the flat.

    Cheap bikestand solution

I will often just put my bike on the tailgate of my truck. The kick stand works as a good pivot point to get back wheel off the ground

Toughroad just hit 1200 miles... Wrench on display?

Just hit 1200 mile on bike I got in June. Seems to be working fine but I have a wrench on my display after I ride about 100 yards. Any ideas?

What are your plans for winter exercise? Keep riding your ebike or an exercise bike?

Well if gyms don’t open safely, I plan to ride until the snow flies or gets below 20F. Then I will park my self on my elliptical in front of a TV. Also work on core and flexibility, I have ignored this over the summer

A Little Self Indulgent Comparison Test

The Toughroad is a fantastic bike. I have not run into the 20% battery pitfall yet. Usually back close to home by that point. I love the big tires give a super stable ride at higher speeds. I regularly run my bike 45 to 55 miles (mostly on eco) with battery to spare.
