    Orange Seal tire sealant works

The CST tires on the Wallke bikes are soft and pretty thin, and mine were prone to getting a lot of stickers through them. When my front tire went flat a few months ago, there were literally 4 hole where air was leaking from the tube, and I removed at least 6 stickers poking through the tire...

    Customizing my Wallke X3 pro

Glad to hear you got some wider bars. Makes a huge difference on the heavy bike, and doesn't feel as sketchy when you're banking on a turn at higher speeds. The stock Wallke X3 bars are actually 650mm (a few online reviewers mentioned it as well), but after I put on 780mm bars I realized that...

    rear brake pads are squealing

Resin/organic brakes pads should be used on most bikes that don't do any hardcore trails, downhills, or enduro races. They bite hard and grab really well, but if you're hard on them they will heat up and start to lose their effectiveness. Then you just need to let them cool down for a bit...

    Customizing my Wallke X3 pro

Not with a 65 lb bike that's super rear-heavy due to the hub drive motor. And especially not with the cheap air fork that the Wallke comes with, and the fake rear 'air' shock (which has a really soft coil), as the suspension already bottoms out on short drops like jumping off of a curb. If...

    Customizing my Wallke X3 pro

Holy smokes, that's a lot of stuff on the bar. The main reason I changed my Wallke bar out is because I'm used to riding with a 780-800mm bar, so the 680-ish mm bar that Wallke comes with is way too small and didn't feel that stable on some of the trails I normally ride. Now the ride is much...

Rear shock starting to sag at 430 miles

I'm using their 150x30mm air shock, which is a direct replacement to the HLT-100 shock that comes on the bike. Same eyelet-to-eyelet measurement and same stroke, so it was a direct replacement. The shock is not close to any of the wires. The 165mm shock would be too long for the frame.

The Front fork recommendations for air pressure

When I got my bike, the fork was around 60psi and it would bottom out all the time. Now that I have it set to 190 psi, it's much better now and will not bottom out on steeper drops. Works perfect after replacing the fake 'air' rear HLT-100 shock, as my sag and rebound are now tuned in for my...

Rear shock starting to sag at 430 miles

The HLT-100 rear shock is not an air shock. Somebody posted up an opened up pic in a review, but it's a coil spring inside of an 'air shock' looking housing. There was a ton of sag with that junky shock, and has always been like that for me since day one (back in May). I also swapped mine out...

    Customizing my Wallke X3 pro

Nice. Changing out the rear shock made one of the biggest differences IMO. That and putting on a 780mm handlbar & better grips.

From SoCal and looking for a "value" ebike (that's full size and maybe folds)...

Just now saw this thread. I've had my Wallke X3 Pro W-PAS bike for about a month now and put 120 miles on it (per the odometer). I've changed out a few things over time that suited me better (saddle, pedals, grips), filled up the front air suspension higher to better compensate for my riding...
