    Hello from Montreal, Canada

I think a number of folks on the MEC site did some "surgery" on panniers to make the clips work. Another option might be to fabricate a platform with thinner rails that project out slightly to the side and clamp it to the factory rack. Good luck.

    Hello from Montreal, Canada

Maybe these would work? https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5024-767/Universal-Upper-Pannier-Clips Mixed reviews however. You might be able to get something similar from another supplier if they don't.

TÉO EBR Review - good one.

I agree, the Teo site does need a lot of cleanup. I checked your post about your new Luna shock and noticed that you didn't mention any issues mounting your brake caliper. The Luna site doesn't mention what size discs the fork is designed for but the blog that they link on their site says it is...

TÉO EBR Review - good one.

I was pretty sure that I had seen 180 mm specified as the disc diameter on the Teo website. I just checked again, not all bikes show the disc diameter but those that do show 180 mm. Either Court eyeballed the diameter incorrectly or Benoit has an error on his website.

Téo Impressions after a few rides

I agree with Denis. See my post from August 4 in the "shifting gears with pedal assist" thread that you set up. Sorry, I don't know how to link it here. Teo does make the full suspension bike with a mid drive motor. Perhaps this is just carryover from a "universal" user manual.

Téo Impressions after a few rides

Something like this should help to raise your handlebars. MEC also has longer adjustable stems that could be tilted up for a little more height. https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5042-662/Alloy-Stem-Raiser

    Shifting Gears with Pedal Assist

A derailleur is actually a fairly primitive way of changing gears; it literally derails from one cog to the next with spring(s) in the body taking up or letting out slack as the ratios change. Yes you do need to ease up a bit and best to keep pedalling to get a smooth shift as noted by others...

    DIY/Mods on our Teo's

Wow, you've been busy. Some great mods good ideas. You seem to be having fun. :)

    Good one, we'll I think!

I used to work with a fellow who was riding his bike uphill into a strong headwind. He had his head down for more aerodynamics, and when he looked up he saw a car parked on the shoulder but it was too late to stop. He hit the car and skidded over the roof. He left tooth marks in the roof. He...

    Other model?

Hi Denis, I haven't watched it but here's a review of the Mariner.... https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/1-month-with-the-voltbike-mariner.14025/#post-111467

Order is done...thanks to all who posts so much detail

https://www.sheldonbrown.com/derailer-adjustment.html This link gives a good overview of how to adjust your derailleur. Looks like where @america94 got the photo?

    Water bottle holder?

Maybe on top of the top tube held in place with a couple of hose clamps as another idea? You'd need a bottle holder with a "foot" on it and rubber strips to protect the paint.

I'm just waiting for one of ya'll to 'fess-up that you've spent more on accessories than you did on the bike;););)!

Decent explanation of Pedal Assist vs Throttle

Apparently some cities have banned E bikes with throttles on their bike paths; Calgary for example.:( Something to be aware of.

    Other model?

Hi Denis just wondered if you had looked at the small foldable bike at RadPower. Given @america94's comments about the Volt bikes it might be a better bet particularly if you travel to the US a lot. I had looked a Rad Rover but it cost $400 to have it delivered to Canada which was a deal...

    Pedal Assist... a revelation! DOH!

'saw an incident first hand. My wife and daughter have another brand of e-bike. My daughter was bringing them into the house after a ride but my wife had forgotten to turn hers off. Suddenly the bike popped a wheelie, literally vertical. Fortunately the kid is a big, strong girl with good...

Please post when you find out the Téos are in!

Traditionally front and rear QR are on the left to keep the chain and derailleur clear at the back. But these new fangled brakes muddy the issue. Doesn't really make a functional difference ;)
