Air Brakes , I have seen people riding around like that. There is guy who works at my closest supermarket who has the forks flipped 180. Mentioned it to him, doesn’t,t care 😙 Someone was selling a mission here last weekend, pics show forks on backwards.

The Rover Kenda fat tires are really obnoxiously loud, like a swarm of bees. There are options which are much quieter.

I had a Rover, I live on a hill and am surrounded by them . My inbound commute is 5-6 miles uphill I never used 1-2 gear. With the bolton upgrade +motor , I switched to a 48T Chainring and still rarely required low gears even on the trail.

They don’t require regular adjustment, the standard Tektros on the Rad only move one pad so wear is uneven and you may have to re-center the caliper.

It's easy to see if the removed freewheel is defective. A good freewheel will only engage in one direction (clockwise in this case) , in the opposite direction it should "freewheel".

With the 35A controller the big motor adds a bit more torque, not a huge amount. On long climbs it doesn’t run out of breath. The standard motor gets hot and power falls off on a long climb. You still will get up the hill but The big motor seems to use battery power slightly more efficiently...

Correction, I see it’s a single speed with a tensioner I think those single speed freewheels are not as difficult to remove.

You have a jammed freewheel. The motor should never be able to spin the pedals. If it’s the DNP freewheel they sell them on Amazon . You will need a special tool to remove it from the hub.

On the website it says more powerful motor , maybe the real 750W hub motor. The display choice is odd otherwise it looks good. Price increase like everyone else.

The bikes exceeding the local 15 mph limit on the paved trails where I live are almost all lightweight regular racing bikes. Regular bikes also lack a speedometer ,although some riders add one or use their phone. Most $1200+ e-bikes do have speedometers.

Judging by other recent posts on the Mission tensioner, it does seem to be a problem. Not sure if it's the quality of the component or the application . Ratio is fixed at 50-16, lower power bike + if you are really pushing those pedals from standstill or up a hill it's quite a lot of stress on...

Reported tensioner issues are with Rad single speed bikes, the derailleur models don't have problems that I am aware of. The design is a bit of a "kluge". Not sure if there is an aftermarket alternative as it is mounted forward of the axle bolt.

Just FYI C5 adjusts maximum current (and watts) I found about 1250W was enough, C12 changes cutoff voltage to 40V on a 48V Battery. There is momentary 4-5 volt drop when you go full throttle or PAS 5 with the mod . It recovers a bit but if you are under 46 volts it can trip the cutout just...
