No throttle and no way home today... :(

Not sure where all this hostility is coming from and not really interested in the background. I agree if the rules of a specific trail forbid them then we should not ride there. But other than that I have no idea why anyone would have an issue with someone who prefers a throttle. I prefer to...

No throttle and no way home today... :(

Getting back on topic as I rode past a yard sale at the end of the day they were giving away the stuff they could not sell. I grabbed a grinder that was pretty big and heavy, attached it to my rack with bungie chords which obviously was not enough to secure it. But my bike has a throttle and...

Total Noob Here, Need Your Help

Thanks for this. I honestly didn't know it was dangerous. I had my battery on charge all winter in our laundry room. Yes I protected it from lint but never realized it was such a risk. I just figured the battery would discharge over time and I wanted the bike ready to ride when I was. It's...

Total Noob Here, Need Your Help

I've been doing it this way for 3 years and don't seem to have lost any battery range. If I unplug will the battery be fully charged when I ride it days later or will it discharge a bit?

Slowly figuring it out - slow down, stop touching the throttle

I'm a senior so my priority is a safe ride. I also found at slower speeds I can see more things I would miss. Mine is in kilometers and I limit my top speed on downhills to 30KPH which is about 18 miles per hour. Once I get to the bottom I slow down to under 20KPH which is about 13MPH and...

Total Noob Here, Need Your Help

Sorry for the late reply. I brought the battery indoor and left it on the charger when not in use. Was this incorrect? I leave the charger on in summer too so it will always be ready to ride, is that OK? Regardless the issue appears to have gone away, I now have as much range as I always had.

Slowly figuring it out - slow down, stop touching the throttle

I'm a senior and I'm out to enjoy the ride, not getting from Point A to Point B. Mine is in kilometers and I limit my downhills to 30 KPH, or 18 MPH. When I cruise I'm at 20 KPM or 12.5 MPH. I have no interest in getting hurt.

Total Noob Here, Need Your Help

My only concern is the battery did not hold a charge after a long winter, it had been charging inside, on the first ride of spring. It's holding better now but I could kick myself for not buying the longer range battery. A new and improved one is on the horizon.

Total Noob Here, Need Your Help

I have not been here much over the years and wanted to give you all an update. It's been 3 years and I sure am glad I bought when I did. I have gotten to enjoy ebiking much sooner than I had expected. I had waited after being told about 5 years ago that the prices in the US would drop. I...

Reno 911 - Compiliation of Lt. Dangle Bike Stolen Scenes

Glad to see there are more fans of this show, I thought it was pretty clever with great characters.

Most have seen this review, some have not. This review IS one of the main reasons I decided on Lectric eBikes

A friend up the road purchased one of these. My wife and I both rode it and we'll probably be getting one for her. She won't ride nearly as often as I do so for her needs it's fine. But I have to say after riding that, then getting on my Biktrix, you can really tell how much harsher the ride...

Most have seen this review, some have not. This review IS one of the main reasons I decided on Lectric eBikes

I have to agree with the other poster. This is the 2nd thread I've seen you brag about how you can pass these bikes on your bike. Nobody cares about your bike and your replies do seem a bit immature. So this bike is not for you, that's fine. But for many this fits a need, why all the snarky...

Can An EBike Travel On A Bike Rack In The Rain?

I just never had that experience. I still have a major issue with a part return but I don't want to air my dirty laundry here.

Can An EBike Travel On A Bike Rack In The Rain?

Yeah I appreciate that. To me a low end ebike is an Ancer or something you can buy for $900. I don't consider a Biktrix in that category but whatever. I'm not here to get defensive about the make of my bike, it's been good to me.

Ok , so I think I have put most of you on ignore but

I think the list start with the Beatles and the Stones. Then it's up for grabs with so many others to consider. For me it may be REM and Led Zepplin but I could probably come up with 10 more that are in that group.

Can An EBike Travel On A Bike Rack In The Rain?

Yes I did see that. To be honest I don't feel comfortable removing the display. I was either just going to let it ride or cover the entire bike with a tarp before I realized the cover I got covered the display and seat, but not the battery. As I posted it did not do well in the wind and...

Can An EBike Travel On A Bike Rack In The Rain?

Soooooo, does that mean I should cover my bike with a tarp? On a side note I have not experienced this wonderful customer service Biktrix is known for. The fact that the chat could not answer my question about the rain and I never got the promised call back is yet another example. But I do...

Can An EBike Travel On A Bike Rack In The Rain?

Yeah I hope to get more responses. I ride a Biktrix and I don't consider that a low end bike.
