I think what you might have gotten as a recommendation from Schwalbe is the Schwalbe Freeride tubes or something similar. I would instead recommend Maxxis Freeride. It's limited in range to 2.2"-2.5" but you get tubes with 1.2mm wall thickness, which is thicker than standard tubes.
