    Need help choosing.

I think this alone just sold me on it. I called the bike shop I'm getting it from. With tax refunds, I didn't want to chance someone coming in and buying it, so I put a hold on the bike with a small (refundable) deposit. Thank you.

TRUE upgrade to the Lectric XP

Im "upgrading" mine too but for different reasons. I am not getting rid of the XP, its staying in my fleet. Its been great for the last year but I was looking at new bikes. Something that is more commute practical. Something that I can have warranty work done at my local bike shop. Mid drive...

I like this a lot too. What actually got me interested in a mid drive bike was seeing the Bosch system that uses your phone as a computer. I realized since then that its a feature on bikes that are way out of my price range, but that got me started down the rabbit hole of connectivity. I like...

A cable probably came loose. Check your connections. Its likely the one on the handlebar or down on the chainstay.

    Lectric XP spoke issue

I haven't heard anything about it. I know you are supposed to check the spokes quite often though because of the torque on the back wheel.

    Shipping Lectric XP

I've actually worked in the tech industry that sources from China. We had several in-house branded items that we had manufactured and branded in China before being shipped over in containers. Everything from display adapters to our own brand of cat5e cable. Its more or less the same thing...

    Accessories for your XP

I keep mine pretty simple. I don't like my cockpit looking like ali express sponsored my bike lol. Phone mount - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GKT8FBZ Pedals. I hate how slippery the stock pedals are. I'm used to mnt bike pedals. - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZBZPRN5 Brakes...

    Shipping Lectric XP

I ordered July 1st and got mine the 29th. Since then Shimano and Tektro both had huge production issues making those parts almost impossible to find. Bolton Bikes mentioned a year lead time on basically anything from Shimano. I'm still amazed that they are able to get bikes, but I'm sure the...

Why are the e-bike sold only with heavy inefficient fat tires?

I think the market is swinging to accommodate affordable lighter bikes. You are starting to see it with bikes like the Radpower Mission and Ride1up Roadster V2. If you start with a light frame, light battery, and lighter motor, you can get a good experience with less power. Fat tire affordable...

    Need help choosing.

I have been riding a Lectric XP for about a year now. I got it to test the waters to see if I would actually be committed enough to commute to work every day. Long story short, I am. I hate days where I can't. I want to upgrade to something a little nicer. I want something mid-drive because I...
