    The new turbo Vado 2017

When will the 691 batteries be back in stock? This would be great if we can all get this in writing! Feeling a little relieved!

    The new turbo Vado 2017

Have you had any reply back from Specialized regarding longterm support? Im curious to see what happens.

    The new turbo Vado 2017

I read the Specs on the VADO, they seem quite nice and at a lower entry price to boot. Id just be less inclined to buy one if Specialized doesn’t support previous Turbo purchases and snubbed the current 1st get buyers. The specs seem more than adequate, however I’m still not sold on the...

    The new turbo Vado 2017

If we can get these batteries repacked, I’m on board, I figure absolute worst case scenario, if the motor and batteries die, ill gut the battery on this bike, remove the rear hub, and convert it to another hub/mid drive from another brand, and use the battery pack space with repacked batteries...

    The new turbo Vado 2017

IM on the fence about picking up an extra battery (if it can be had...) to extend the life of the bike, but at the same time I don’t want to dump more money into an unsupported system... If Specialized could throw us a bone for a credit/trade in program 2-3 years down the line Id be fairly...

    The new turbo Vado 2017

OH I definitely agree with you Doug, I’m not running around like a chicken little with my head cut off LOL. Im just merely making a statement that I hope Specialized takes care of the early adopters (which I think a company as large as theirs should be capable of) rather than let us die on the...

    The new turbo Vado 2017

Will give the Vado 5.0 a ride, but if no longterm warranty support is offered on the Turbo and Turbo S, than thats the end of Specialized for me.

How did you install your bike light?

    The new turbo Vado 2017

The turbo line has been around for only 3-4 years correct? Can we expect the Vado to be in production that long? I get that E bikes are in their infancy now, but not having support for at least another 3-5 years is down right criminal. What are we suppose to do with our paperweights when the...

    The new turbo Vado 2017

I've spoken to a tech at R.P.E. as well and they said I would have to send in the battery and charger for them to see what they can do. My bike is relatively new so I don’t think I will have to send it in for anytime in the near future. Im averaging 100 miles a week or less and I charge it about...

    Charging Turbo to Full Capacity

Will try that at my next charge cycle.

    The new turbo Vado 2017

Pretty scary for all the recent turbo owners... I don’t think a company as big as specialized would drop the ball that big for its customers who spent that much coin on their bikes... Im gonna try and keep the faith.

http://www.rechargeablepowerenergy.com might be able to repack the battery.

Wish your Turbo S had front suspension?

Very true... if I was super concerned about power delivery i'd probably use a traditional bike. The motor does the power delivery for me.

    The new turbo Vado 2017

How would they warranty batteries if they don’t make them anymore? Sounds rather odd. What I’ve noticed is LBS vary from one to the other about legit info. Some will just sell you something just to sell and give bad info.

Wish your Turbo S had front suspension?

Just got Redshift along with a body Float, I must admit I was skeptical at first but the two mute out a lot of the bad roads here. OF Course its no replacement for a shock set up, but its a pretty good combo.
