    Bosch de-restricting .

Could you please tell me what your software version is? Just checked mine and it's 1.8.3.0, hardware version 0.0.6.0. Thanks.

    Bosch de-restricting .

First off, thank you everyone who has taken the time to read and reply to this thread, I do appreciate it, but, sadly, I'm no nearer to getting an answer to my original questions. It's clear there are no problems with fitting any sort of dongle to older bikes, but what I really need to know...

    Bosch de-restricting .

The system already records loads of data, speed, crank rotation, cadence, motor assist level, and so on, I would think it would be very straightforward to record if the system had been tampered with, for example, it would only need to record someone riding at 25mph with the motor still on...

    Bosch de-restricting .

I agree with those sentiments, my main concern was regarding the alledged anti tamper software, and whether that could potentially render a bike useless if one attempted to alter it. This is why I'm particularly interested to hear from people with 2019 versions who've tried it.

    Bosch de-restricting .

Hi all, I've just acquired a 2019 Bosch CX equipped e bike, while I'm loving the 'grunt' of the motor, the 15.5 mph cut out (I'm in the UK), is a real pain. I've done a lot of reading on the subject of removing the speed restriction on Bosch systems, and there are a lot of posts saying that...

    Wheel circumference

That's kind of the point I'm making, the fact that the figures are so far off what you'd expect, makes me wonder if Bosch calculate differently somehow. If it said inch, when it should be cm., that's a mistake I could understand, but converting to metric it's still nowhere near the actual size.

    Wheel circumference

I don't see how that can be put down to 'a rushed mistake', the figures are miles out, surely someone would have noticed? I thought maybe Bosch had some strange way of describing the circumference.

    Wheel circumference

New #4 I think the reading is in cm, not inches. 206 cm = 81.1 inches. That was my thought, but it clearly says inch

    Wheel circumference

That makes no sense. If I measure from ground to top of tyre, it's 27.5 inch, multiply that by pi, equals 86.39 inches. A wheel with a circumference of 206 inches ( like mine says), would be about 66 inch diameter, that's nearly as tall as me!

    Wheel circumference

Hi all, new member here, and I've just taken delivery of my new Charger vario, absolutely loving it, don't wanna get off it! Anyway, I have a query, while scrolling through the settings on the display (kiox), I came across the wheel circumference menu which allows you to alter the size, but...
