    Panniers?

What website did you buy this from? I am unable to find it on Amazon for shipping to the US. I was able to find the Kavan XL on Amazon however - looks like it could be a good fit? Are there any other companies that make similar products? I'd love to get them in blue to match my blue ODK.

ODK & CC: Speed on the flats

I was wondering what sorts of cruising speeds people who have ridden the ODK and CrossCurrent have been getting on the flats with moderate pedaling effort? I'm thinking about the amount of pedaling it takes to maintain 15mph on a standard road bike. I am assuming it's not overly difficult to...

    ODK Shipping Box Size

Thanks for the info Ravi. That's a bit too big for my car and it looks like it would be pushing the weight limit for my bike rack as well. If it arrives somewhat disassembled, is it be possible to fit it into a car in a couple different pieces? Otherwise I'll get it delivered somewhere else...

    ODK Shipping Box Size

Specific dimensions would be helpful ;) I figure weight would be around 75-80 lbs. I don't want to have it delivered to my house when I'm not around to accept the package. Plus, this way I can show it off to all of the other nerds in the office.

    ODK Shipping Box Size

Can someone chime in about the dimensions of the box the ODK ships in? I'm wondering if I get it delivered to my office if it will fit in my little hatchback car. Apologies if this was already mentioned in a different thread, but I hadn't seen it anywhere here or on the JuicedBikes website...

Throttle or no Throttle? The Solution: Adapt!

@Tora Harris - does this mean that there is/was a plan to put torque sensors on the ODK's?

    Making of Juiced Riders

Thanks Ravi. In that case, one option might be to get the seat and keep it on all the time, and instead of a basket use some pannier bags for rear storage. I'm wondering if the foot places would interfere with the panniers and make them site at a weird angle? If those were easy to remove maybe...

    Making of Juiced Riders

Ravi, the picture is appreciated! That's encouraging that you ride it when you have others you could choose from! I like the grey color as well but also think the matte blue looks pretty nice - my other bike is blue so I may keep everything matching. Question about the seat setup - how easy...

    ODK U500 - Winter Riding?

I would only be able to keep the bike in an unheated garage for this winter, but for future winters I could keep it inside. I wonder if it could survive one winter of cold nights? Another aspect I hadn't thought of previously is that the front drive nature of the ODK could be a problem when...

    ODK U500 - Winter Riding?

So I've become interested in Juiced Riders bikes in the last couple days after coming across the CrossCurrent threads as well as delving into the videos and articles about the ODK U500. Living in Minnesota, any e-bike investment would only be worth it if could confidently be used in the winter...

    Making of Juiced Riders

Do you have your 32Ah ODK yet? Would be cool to see a video review as I cannot test ride one before buying (no dealers with stock in Minnesota). Cheers!

    Cross Current

Well, here's a video from a while ago of Tora hitting 26 miles per hour in 20 seconds so it looks like it can be done. He may have been pedaling much harder than you during the test ride, though. He was a high jumper so I'm sure he's got some strong legs.

    Cross Current

Is there a programmed motor cutout at all that was interfering with you getting up to higher speeds? I'm curious if you put on some clip-in pedals if you could put in more power through pedaling and increase speed that way.

    My Next Build

I think that I'd be interested in: how you manage the wiring, if there are any bottom bracket issues during installation, what your speeds end up being on flats (with the various PAS levels) with how much pedal effort, energy consumption per mile on flats (I'm expecting around 20WH/mile?)/real...

    My Next Build

Hi Court - which 52V shark pack did you go with, the GA cells, NRCB or PF version? Would you please make an install video of when you're getting everything assembled and what the bike looks like when you get it together? If it's too much hassle, then pictures and text would be fine, too...

New Build Considerations - Input Desired

Well, since all of the bikes I was interested in from BD are sold out and the batteries I was interested in from LunaCycle were sold out, it looks like I will be holding off until restocking happens in the next couple months. I'm still reconsidering what the specifics of my build are going to...

New Build Considerations - Input Desired

Now that I've sat and thought for a while, I feel like a BBS02 wouldn't be too bad since it lets me actually use the 13.5ah rack battery which would shave some price off of my build. I'm also now leaning towards the same bike Court J is using in his build since the bike models I was interested...

New Build Considerations - Input Desired

Court, that's good to hear from someone that's used them regularly. It sounds like you've also learned to respect the limitations of the motor, and I'm guessing that's helped with the longevity of your motors ("I learned to avoid putting the motor under high loads in upper PAS"-Court J...

New Build Considerations - Input Desired

Thanks for the input Harry, I've been thinking about going with the BBSHD mainly because it has been redesigned to be more robust. After seeing this thread I am thinking I'd prefer to stay away from the BBS02 as it seems like you have to do some DIY repairs and maintenance with regularity. I...

New Build Considerations - Input Desired

Now I'm thinking about using the Motobecane Fantom29 Elite as the project build - I really like that I can fit large tires and have a remote lockout on the front suspension fork. The winter studded tire options for mountain bikes seem to be much more robust than those 45c and under. Too bad...
