    ebike designed for no pedaling

I would recommend a Juiced Bikes ODK U500 with the 32Ah battery. I have it and can do a 44 mile round trip commute on one charge at 17 mph average with lots of stops and end up with battery to spare. I am pedaling most of the time, but I could do the whole thing without pedaling if I wanted to...

    Wich one?

I own a Juiced Bikes bicycle (ODK U500) and am a fan of the company. For you, I would recommend a Juiced Bikes Cross Current (likely with the 10ah battery) - you can check out check their website for more information on the bicycle - probably the medium size would work well for you. Email them...

How Many Miles or Km On Your Ebike? What Repairs and Maitenance?

Probably not the kind of miles you're looking for, but I figured I'd kick the thread off anyways and wait for others to follow. I've done 250 miles in two weeks of ownership of my Juiced Bikes ODK U500, so far no repairs or maintenance. It has extra thick tires so hopefully won't have any flat...

    I need e-bike suggestions

Hey Korvus, Just wanted to chime in with my experiences and situation and see if it's any use to you in your e-bike quest. I have a perfectly good car but wanted to lower my carbon footprint as well as stop worrying about traffic for my commute, which is 22 miles one-way with a couple long...

CrossCurrent (& S-pedelec's in general) Legality

I have a question on speed pedelec legality - in my state (Minnesota) there is a law defining what an electric-assisted bicycle is and here is an excerpt from Subdivision 27: "(ii) is incapable of propelling the vehicle at a speed of more than 20 miles per hour, (iii) is incapable of further...

why do folks want a higher watt motor?

This depends on where you live in the US - some areas are catching on quick and investing in bicycle infrastructure. I'm in the Minneapolis-St Paul area and we have loads of dedicated bike lanes and networks to get around the city. Check out the area on Google Maps with the bicycling layer...

    Panniers?

Turns out the Ortlieb bags don't fit the ODK - I'm still looking for bags. For now I'm going to put on a EMGO trunk until I find the perfect bags.

    Cross Current

I'm sure you'll be fine - Tora seems to work with good people. My shipper (SAIA) did a good job getting the product to me.

Received My ODK - Impressions Thread

So the ODK got a good amount of use today, with my wife doing all of the riding! She was hesitant to use it at first but soon (~3 miles in) had the hang of it and gained confidence. One huge advantage I see for this bike as my first e-bike is that my wife can also use it with minimal amounts...

Received My ODK - Impressions Thread

If you're interested in giving this thing a test ride, PM me. That's an open invitation - I'd be more than happy to give anyone in the Twin Cities area a ride since there are none stock in any stores in the state. I had to "buy blind" but others in the area shouldn't have to!

Received My ODK - Impressions Thread

So today I took delivery of my matte grey ODK, after about 6 business days from the order date from California to Minnesota - pretty happy with that. The bike did not come with the basket that I had ordered and will come later - this is a bit of a bummer as I only found out once the bike...

    Supernova M99 Install on ODK

Thanks Tora. Now that I'm over the initial hype of the M99, I'm actually thinking that I may end up going the battery-powered light route and limit the number of cords running around. I was thinking something like this Serfas 500 would work well, but I'm just concerned about how/where it will...

    ODK V3 and CycleAnalyst

Thanks Tora. The cable now shows as being sold out through Amazon and it is not listed on your website. Any way to purchase this?

    Supernova M99 Install on ODK

So I just became aware of the Supernova M99 - see video demo here on Stromer ST2 - as well as the company's official promo video. Would it be possible to hook this up to the battery of the ODK? That would make this thing a beast for night riding! Generally I'm wondering how to hook up lights...

    Cross Current

I made a thread for this for the ODK - I'm assuming it's the same for the CC.

    Panniers?

Would it be possible to use the Basil XL bags underneath the EMGO travel trunk at the same time? I know @Mr. Rabbit is rocking the EMGO, so maybe he could chime in about if this would be possible. I like the idea of having pannier bags along with the trunk. Thanks!

ODK & CC: Speed on the flats

Thanks for the input! Curious to see what kind of average speed I can hit on my 21 mile one-way commute. Will find out in the next couple weeks!

    Panniers?

I'm thinking these Ortlieb ones could work well, and they'd match the blue of the bike. On a side note, I have the feeling like by using panniers that would work on a non-"cargo" style bike that I'd be limiting the potential carrying capacity of the ODK vs using cargo bike specific...

    ODK V3 and CycleAnalyst

Which of these would be the correct CycleAnalyst to get for an ODK V3? http://www.ebikes.ca/shop/ebike-parts/cycle-analysts.html Seems like the CA-DPS would be the one to go with, but I'm not 100% sure And is it necessary to also buy this $60 adapter cable to use with the ODK? Thanks!

ODK 23Ah vs 32 Ah Cell Type

Does anyone know which specific type of 18650 cells are used in each of these batteries? I know the 23Ah has 2600mAh per cell and the 32Ah has 2900mAh. Are they the 26F and 30B respectively? Just curious...
