E bikes with a full range of gears

A number of things: I watched the Pedego video on the Ridge Rider and I'm impressed. HELLO FUN! :) However, I don't know what site I was looking at earlier, but the Canada site has it listed for between $4000 & $4500 CAD. Secondly, are you implying that the EVO CITY doesn't have the problems of...

I don't remember the terms. Are we good for life? :)

I checked it out and also watched Court's review. For Pedego, I'm surprised. It's very nice, indeed. It's a few dollars more where I am, but not a lot. I'm still liking the Easy Motion EVO CROSS, but the bad reviews make me wary of it, even though I could get a 2016 for $3000 plus tax. EDIT...

For $3000 I would have jumped on it, but $5000 is a different story.

Protecting My new bike from Theft

I don't know if it's the same in the States as it is in Canada, but it cost me $15 U.S. funds ($22.72 CAD with tax and the cost of the money order) to register with Kryptonite. I'm confident that they would honour their guarantee and I'm also confident in the measures I take to secure my bike.

E bikes with a full range of gears

I found a Canadian dealer about 120 miles away, but my Euro conversion doesn't hold true. They're asking $4,800 for the SDuro Trekking 5.0.

E bikes with a full range of gears

Holy cow, that's a beautiful bike! (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) It has the same look as the Easy Motion bikes I like. $3100 (approx) Canadian is doable, too. How much was the shipping?

E bikes with a full range of gears

One of the things I love about EASY MOTION e bikes is that most of their bikes have two or three ring cranksets and 8-10 speed rear cogs. What other brands have e bikes with a similar range of gears?

Lost, I thought you were talking about hub in laced wheel vs just hub motor.

Well, I wouldn't want to lace an entire wheel, either. :) Once upon a time I could easily true a majorly buggered up wheel, but I'd rather not anymore, unless I had no choice.

From what I've learned in the last couple of weeks, 500w is the way to go. I've been reading about the GeoOrbitalWheel https://www.geoo.com/pages/how-it-works and it's another interesting possibility.

That is a mighty fine question! :) Thanks for asking. I'll contact Specialized and get back to you on it.

Turning a 2007 Globe Sport into an e-bike.

I just checked it out again. It's really inexpensive, even with a laced rim. I'll talk to the chat guy about it.
