Better safe than sorry... what's your ride kit look like?

Some basic tools, a good pressure gauge, 3 different locks (each has a use case, depending on perceived security risk at any given location), some Rok straps (way better than bungees), a balaclava (don't need it in the summer but it just stays in my rear rack bag), a pair of gloves, some...

    Gaadi Tube Sourced from US

I've got a Gaadi tube around here somewhere, for my old CCS. Shoulda given it to the guy who bought it. Darn. Anyway, I think I got it from Amazon but it's been three years or so and I don't remember exactly.

    USDA Forest Service Wants Comments

This is not a political forum. We're talking about ebikes on Forest Service lands, not regulators. Plenty of other places to blow that horn if you like.

    USDA Forest Service Wants Comments

You can do that also, but it won't make much difference. Legislators make laws. Departments, Bureaus, etc. make regulations. Filing a comment is more likely to have an impact.

    Need a lower gear

There have been posts on the forum from people who switched to a 42T chainring. Maybe the search function would turn some of them up. But if your only question is, can it be done, then the answer is Yes.

    Display menu HyperScorpion

I'm with you on the trip meter. Used to be you could press On/Off-Down and it would reset the mileage. Very easy. There was no trip meter, though. When did a reset, it resent everything. So on the whole, IMO, this is an improvement. I like having a trip meter and a total miles odometer. If...

    Display menu HyperScorpion

There's a video on Juiced's website. I haven't looked at it for a while. There have been some updates to how the display operates and I don't know if those changes are included. But a lot is the same and would be helpful anyway.

Has anyone replaced the clutch gear assembly on their CC(S,X)?

Sounds like what happened to mine. Ross at JB told me that lubing might fix it. I wasn't sure I wanted to go through the trial and error approach, so I just bought the rear wheel assembly. Ordered in May, arrived in August. The new motor was quieter than the old one ever was. I sold the bike...

CCX 52V-19.2Ah BATTERY "Guard Voltage" & Other ANOMALIES"

Here's what Juiced is doing. They don't make the chargers. They source them from a company where they can get them cheap. The charger only goes to 95% because it's not a great charger, not because Juiced is up to something nefarious that they don't want to explain. If you think about simple...

Let's cut to the chase. Get the Grin Satiator and don't look back.

    Replacement bulb for CCX headlight.

I haven't taken the stock headlight apart so I can't say whether they have modular assemblies like the pictures you posted. If so, you might be in luck. But all LED lights don't come like that. I guess I'm being a bit picky about the word "bulb" so you can ignore that.

My battery is stuck won't disconnect!

Do a google search for Reention Dorado battery and see if you can find the parts, instead of waiting for Juiced to get them in stock.

    Replacement bulb for CCX headlight.

LEDs are not exactly bulbs. You'd have to switch out the little circuit board as well as the diode itself. We ran into this with my wife's Pedego. It was easier to purchase an aftermarket handlebar-mounted light than to change the one that came stock. Turns out it was an improvement also...

New Hyper Scorpion - not all electronics working

JB must have really rushed the manufacture/distribution of the HyperScorpion. These aren't the kind of problems that can squeak through QA. I'm thinking they could just as well ship you a new one instead of trying to fix it piece by piece, when that many things -- major things -- are wrong.

Labor day sale on Juiced Bikes

$700 off on a Hyper Scorpion! It's $1000 more than my Scorpion -- like paying for the larger battery and getting all the extras for free.

Sold my motorcycle. Waiting for my ebike to arrive

I love motorcycling. I've owned 9 motorcycles since 1975: 3 Hondas including 1 Gold Wing, 1 Yamaha, 2 Harleys (Sportster and Super Glide), and 3 BMWs (man, I loved that R1200RT.) They were all great in their own way. I've ridden from coast to coast twice. For several years, I had a home therapy...

    200 Watt Power

Exactly. How do they know? Unless there's a sticker on the bike somewhere that says 500 watts. My approach has always been, ride safely and respectfully. If you never attract the attention of the police, you'll never have a problem even with a 1000 watt motor. If you do attract their attention...

How do I know if my battery...

I downloaded this chart so I could refer to it when needed. I don't know how many times I've checked it to refresh my memory. I bet you'll find it useful too.

How do I know if my battery...

I'm glad you figured out how to take a reading with a multimeter. Sounds like that LED panel that came with your kit is pretty useless. If it's reading that low at 49.1 volts, it's misleading. Could you feel that you were still getting sufficient power on that last hill? On my former bike that...

How do I know if my battery...

I'm with @AHicks - a multimeter can be bought at any Lowe's, Harbor Freight or online for next to nothing. It will give you an accurate read on your state of charge. If you're not sure how to use one, give us a holler. (I'm not assuming you don't already know, just offering.)
