I just checked that. On my bike pas 1 to 4 acts like you described. When I'm in pas 5 then I have to pedal faster to hit top speed.

If they did , fix the speedometer and odometer , they won't tell you that because a lot of folks would start calling them. 5000+ new controllers isn't cheap.
