    Ebike Chain Lubes

Well I'm journeying to the waxer side. Paraffin on the way. Still undecided whether I'll add ptfe or moly. I have an old can of motor mica out there also.

2021 Vado 4 Axle torque question.

Never. If you do whatever torque you use keep the key in the axle and when you retighten put it at whatever the o’clock position was before removed and you’ll have the correct torque.

    Ebike Chain Lubes

I was looking for something for a garage door and ran across this company. Would be interesting to try one of their products. https://www.klueber.com/us/en/products-service/lubricants/lubricating-waxes/ https://www.klueber.com/us/en/products-service/products/klueberplus-sk-11-299/9897/

Specialized teases details of Globe Bikes sub-brand Cargo eBike

Looks like it should fit a grocery sack going by the dimensions. I have these Bushwacker carriers. Cheap and and to reinforce them with some angle aluminum, but they work. Just because it says USA doesn't mean they are made here, they are made in china...

    Found my new ebike.

I’ve been pedaling since after I learned to walk. Don’t worry, I won’t forget how 😁

Unless a grocery bag fits in those plastic totes they would be useless for myself.

Specialized Vado 5.0 IGH Cadence Survey

The motor doesn't have the beans to get you to 28 mph at the lower cadence. You need better legs:)

Got 106 miles on Eco from 2020 Vado 4

That's pretty good. I'm down to 25/100 on eco mode and find I can move along in the mid to high teens pretty easy on level ground with the 5 series and 36t chainring.

2022 Vado 4.0 My Opinion after the first 1000 miles

That's pretty good miles on your chain without stretch. What do you use for lube? I'm liking my Vado and Como also. Haven't had any problems.

New 9 Speed Internally Geared Hub with 554 Gear Range

I have both a 9 spd and an 11 spd on Specialized ebike. I really liked the 11 spd and never had experience with the 9 until I changed one of them. I prefer the 9, less shifting and as someone said, my cadence preference expanded. Re oil bath or grease, I had a 3 point brushcutter on a...

Scratches through paint in seat post ring on brand new Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH

I have same clamp on older bikes and they are still perfect. Looks like someone beat on them or scuffed it across a rough surface. They’re aluminum so won’t rust. Make sure to use a torque wrench when you tighten them. Black permanent marker makes good touch up.

Using 1Up Super Duty with Turbo Como (or Vado) with Wheel Stop accessory, or other options

I was thinking more along the lines of this but I’ll settle for what I did. Thanks for the humor.

    Ebike Chain Lubes

I've got a shitload of craft beeswax. Wonder how that compares. I've been using the dow corning molykote c40 for a while now. It doesn't attract dirt and use it on the derailleur and other moving parts. I use 3 paper towels to clean the chain and gears and reapply. I switched to motor oil a...

    Ebike Chain Lubes

I did some looking around and the above video recommended the royal purple in second place. Someone else used it on their bike and didn't have good results. Maybe still and way back in the day wax or paraffin based motor oil was prevalent so wax must have some lubricating properties.

Using 1Up Super Duty with Turbo Como (or Vado) with Wheel Stop accessory, or other options

On my Como and Vado front fender, I feathered the plastic at the bottom rear of the fender by making some slices vertically. I was catching it on curbs every once in a while and didn't want to damage it or the fender. The slices make it flexible for a few inches so if it catches something it...
