    Ebike Chain Lubes

I would guess the strength difference between different cog number chains is small and think that it is the offset from the chainring loading one side plate that kills a chain. Just about anything can be used for lubrication, it’s nothing magic. Instructions for my Specialized Sequoia said...

    Ebike Chain Lubes

You guys need to pass along what speed chain you are using. Big fat single speed chains are going to last a lot longer than a 12 spd.

    More Praxis Chain Drop Questions

Still no chain drops here with almost 3k miles. Praxis chain rings 48t and 36t. 9 spd and 11 spd.

2022 Turbo Vado and Turbo Tero comparison: Same bike?

My Vado 5.0 is outfitted pretty much like the Tero. Looks exactly like the picture and has the 36t chainring. What do you need to know?

    More Praxis Chain Drop Questions

It may be a combination of things when you are looking for one. I was going to post something a little bit ago and after review I'd say the outside tooth wear which holds the chain on through friction may be the culprit. On my bikes, not Creo, I changed a rear derailleur and after some...

    More Praxis Chain Drop Questions

Not a Creo here but I've used Praxis 48t and 36t with a variety of chains and clutched and clutchless derailleur never had a chain drop on 9 and 11 spd. Is the chainring aluminum or steel? If aluminum I'd suspect it may be wore and maybe wore if steel, or the chain may be wore.

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I've put a little time on the Como mule, outfitted with panniers front and back. I've lowered the front panniers to the middle crossbar, think that helps handling and opens up the top pizza rack to hold something. Kind of wish now I hadn't trimmed it. Still liking the 36t chainring and don't...

Specialized Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH Vs turbo Vado 3 IGH

Read chain drive, not igh. Went from 48t to 36t. Cost was chainring, nothing else. You can use this: https://www.bikecalc.com/speed_at_cadence I've noticed my cadence has gone up like 10 rpm. Don't know if that is attributed to going from 48t to 36t. There is more power. Going to a...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Stopped in a couple motorcycle shops today. They both had taken up the ebike inventory. One was selling Specialized and had quite a bit of inventory of the ebikes, that's all they carried. That has to compete with the bike shops.

    Vado 5.0 - weak assistance

I've noticed my spec bikes have less power at lower battery soc but not by a whole lot, they are chain driven. Your igh burns a little more power so your experience might be different.

Specialized Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH Vs turbo Vado 3 IGH

I wouldn't be afraid of the 3.0. Riding in the city I rarely go over 20 mph riding sidewalks, bikepaths, and the street. I have the 5.0 versions of the Vado and Como in chain drive but reduced the front gear to a 36t which puts it in Class 1 territory. So I still have the power of the 5.0...

    We need bakfiets!

I was looking at that cube cargo sport and all kinds of things came up on the search stream. Was wondering why there wasn’t a four wheel car like bike available. And guess what, there it was! Pretty innovative.

    We need bakfiets!

I've read the downside to the motorcycle trikes is the three wheels, two will ride the conventional tire path, the 3rd wheel gets centered over the middle of the road, or whatever is left over or is missed with the paired wheels. I've discovered I'd rather have the groceries over the rear...

    We need bakfiets!

Before I bought the Specialized ebike I was looking real close at the r&m. Been real happy with the Spec. And brose setup, for me probably better choice than bosch. And now I see Can Am is entering the electric motorcycle arena. Be cool if they would get into the ebike game. Brendon, you...

    Trim bars on Vado SL

Wider bars also move your shoulder blades in, which pinches and stresses the muscles.
