Thanks for that information. What type of pipe did you use? I saw that Bob said down in the comments of his Youtube video that he used 1 1/4" PVC pipe, but the pipe I had that had a 1 1/4" outside diameter would not fit on the tube of my suspension fork.

I understand, but at least you'll have the bike you wanted with upgrades. So did you add the 10 chain links to your XP for the 34t freewheel? I saw that step-thru bike Lectric is now selling. It will be a good alternative for people that need it.

Good point. I've never thought of what you describe. I would think as long as you don't remove your hand(s) from the handle bar, you wouldn't have a problem in the walk mode but that's strictly a guess on my thinking.

What kind of problems do you plan to encounter, possibly high step-ups to clear rocks or fallen trees? If so, you will have to lift up on the bike and possibly turn the walk mode off briefly while doing so.

I can't wait to see the orange powder coated frame of your bike. I wish Lectric would make some more paint color options for customers. They have lost some sales due to it.

Seems like you need to adjust your derailleur to fine tune the shifting from 6th to 7th gear. When my bike arrived I was having that problem and I had to adjust my derailleur or I never would have been able to use 7th gear. Lectric should have adjusted the bikes at its shop before shipping...

That's a good writeup and summary of the same condition I found my XP in when I received mine from Lectric back in October of 2019. I agree with you that Lectric should have had a QA technician that makes minor adjustments to its bikes before shipping them to the customer. This is how...
