If you're into tractor abuse there are a lot of clips up on youtube of people dangling the backhoe attachment out far enough to balance tractor on back wheels and get creative with brake steering. Or loaders with buckets extended and screwing around balanced on front wheels. A lot of those...

Along with answering a few people's questions about ebikes we're about 8 or 10 miles back in and I see BarnBoy stop to talk to a hiker (not pictured). I pull up short to give them some room so I only caught the basics of it. This guy wanted to hike and explore more but didn't have his...

A little more about my riding along with BarnBoy and his buddy. I'm not too much for city areas but if I had to choose this is the city I would want to live in. It's beautiful and clean in and of itself, it has easy access to San Francisco AND he can ride to the open space area I took this...

No problem shifting smoothly at all FnF. I can produce far smoother shifts with the Kindernay 14 than I can with other high quality chain and cassette set ups. I do like to pause pedaling, shift and start pedaling again - no noises from hub. I'll come to a full unexpected stop or slow way...

    BarnBoy's Hydra Adventures...

On the point of corrosion BarnBoy is being kind to not point out that MERLE NELSON corroded his terminals. :) For anyone wondering how important of a point this is I had only used a garden hose to wash mud off the battery cover and bike. And I had only done it 3 or 4 times after rides since I...

OMGOODNESS it was so much fun. It was my longest ride so far. A great feeling of accomplishment and rewarding learning from veteran riders. Slept past the alarm this morning having been a bit warn out by them but excited to go out and use some battery management skills BarnBoy instilled in me...

I was getting into the menu after early missteps, it was getting selection of % to toggle over to volts that had me blocked for some reason. Got it now, thanks for both of your help.

Hello! New user from the Pacific Northwest

I think they are and I think that would be an incredible contribution. If I would have accessed more of that on my first bike I may have waited until I could get a nicer one. And....those that want that pricepoint or that make and model will be that much more informed. And....I don't care...

A lot of people have posted about deleting their throttle on WW bikes (Hydra?). If you have and your power is low enough these stickers 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch would fit the frame well.

Pics of places you ride your Hydra

We ride in the woods a lot. Usually there are one or several new downed trees each week in the winter. I carry a hand saw to make most trees safely passable. This one needed my battery operated Husky.

Welcome to EBR AtomicSans. I'm inspired by anyone going carless. Happy for you and the good fortune you have created for yourself in upgrading your bike too. Bikes are fun, nicer bikes are way more fun. :)

Is there any trick to getting the Hydra display to show voltage rather than %??? I've tried it about 10 or 20 times every way I can think of - even read the instructions after the first few failed attempts. Then have re-read them a few more times between attempts.

Police - questioning the power rating of your E-bike? or Ticketing you?

Out of five bikes we have only one came with a class sticker. In searching for a sticker small enough to fit a frame well I came across this person making stickers 1.5 in. by 1.5 in.

Some people say what a sad/boring world it would be if we all thought alike. It just occurred to me if everyone agreed with one persons choice in an RV, place to go, way to get there, mate to have while doing it, we would all be competing for scarce resources indeed.
