ODK on a bus bike rack?

Great to read your contributory post John07. One of the things I like about forums is the ability to search valuable info posted in the past. (I see this thread was previously posted on in march 2018. Upper left corner of post.) I haven't used buses with a bike but load my ebikes in my...

Please Help: first eBike for experienced mountain biker (but not looking to crush single-tracks)

One thing for some to consider is motor noise. My WW Hydra with the Ultra motor has a pretty loud churn or growl by my standards. It's plenty fun to ride. I have a hard time choosing between it and my Scott Genius 900 with no throttle because they're both fun for me for different reasons on...

All the same rules will make you a success at this too. Look up the member PedalUma and a bunch of his posts with pictures of his builds for inspiration along the lines of clean, light weight and smooth application of power. (If those things are your preferences.) Welcome to EBR.

Tips for loading heavy electric bikes onto car racks by yourself

I tend to look for or notice easier ways to do hard things. I stopped using my ramp on my weekly rider bikes because of one such discovery. I push the bike up to the bike rack or pickup bed tailgate at an advantages angle, grip the front brake to lock it up with my left hand, pivot/lift the...

    Orbea Rise eMTB

Welcome to EBR Davesummerh. Fun to hear your thoughts on the Rise. We did end up buying an Orbea Rise for my wife. We originally (as newbies) bought her a Pedego Ridge Rider. But like you she wanted to bike for exercise with a little assistance and at over half her body weight she just...

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07656Y8QM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AP3VA1GJZM3EQ&psc=1 BB was kind enough to give me the link to his dust/water cover again. This may work better than previously posted Amazon link.

    Kindernay maintenance.

When I ordered my Hydra I asked WW to sell me some extra oil for the first changes. The bottle on the left is a part of that purchase with 30 ml of oil in it. After seeing Barn Boys oil from his change at about 250 mi. and hearing Acme describe the color and condition of oil at his first...

    Kindernay maintenance.

I thought I was being clever by removing the plug and tipping the whole bike over to drain. But no, I made a mess in several different ways. Removing the tire as illustrated by Barn Boy in his Hydra thread Is definitely the way to go. Also written up by Barn Boy was the idea of grinding a...

And this is "flush" oil I added and rode for a few blocks with lots of shifting before draining.

    Kindernay maintenance.

There are some new recommendations to take care of your Kindernay IGH. As a result of "seepage" from some hubs Kindernay now recommends 30 ml of oil. Also Watt Wagons suggests that the first oil change (with flush) be done at half of the previously recommend 250 miles.

    * EDIT: Hell Hill is History! * (Formerly "Dumped Seeker Today on Hell Hill!"

Totally a joke on my part, .....possibly exceedingly lame. I'm just a noob to eMTB and am at the beginning of learning myself. I'm sure others will have useful tips.
