    2022 Nevo 3 or Homage?

You've proudly demonstrated twice now a total lack of understanding of the logistics of bicycle manufacturing and distribution on these boards, and I just have to ask: what reason would a company would have to lie about this?

Load 75, Rohloff vs Vario vs Touring model

They're all audibly loud. The Rohloff sometimes spooks new owners because it sounds different in different gears. Belt vs chain has no effect on the FW noise as the noise comes from the pauls/rachets in the hub.

Load 75, Rohloff vs Vario vs Touring model

The gear range of the Vario is noticbly narrow compared to the Touring and Rohloff models. Here in Seattle it's a push to get at 75 Vario up the hills with a decent amount of cargo.

    Riese & Müller Charger 4

The 750wh are removable like the 500/625wh. We've not heard anything about registering 750s.

    Mirror recommendation

Right on. Not familiar with that brand. The B&M ones that come with some of the bikes don't play nice with GP3s.

    Mirror recommendation

The GP3s are going to be a limiting factor as it's hard to find a barend mirror that will sit flush with them. We'd thought this to be a minor aesthetic issue, but we've seen the mirrors fall out while riding because the barend prevents them from being inserted far enough into the bar to get...

Dual batteries not charging in situ.

I don't know about a faulty charger causing issues with the batteries or power harness, but we've warrantied a handful of chargers in the past.

Spare POWERTUBE for Delite 2020: switching that rubber cover?!!!

I don't have the smooth Roadster cover specifically, but I'd imagine the attachment is the same.

    Really dumb battery question

You can turn the bike on/off from it, but it's excatly the same as turning the bike on/off with the button on the display, not a separate thing. It's mostly used by mechanics to troubleshoot power issues.

I think it's definitely worth a try. Let us know how it goes.

    Rohloff E-14

I replied to your thread, but in case anyone else is curious. here's a video explaining why Rohloffs are noisier in gears 1-7.

    Noisy when not pedalling

It's normal behavior for the Rohloff. It has to do with how the gearing system works in gears 1-7 vs 8-14. Here's a great video on it :edit: I misread the part where it's noisier in the higher gears while coasting. The above info refers to behavior while pedaling in lower gears.

Rear Brake totally out of order

I donno man - when cleaning and lubing the pistons, it's routine to remove the pads and extend them until they're 4-5mm from touching each other. I've never witnessed that damage the seals and you can't even get them that close with pads installed.

Rear Brake totally out of order

Interesting. Haven't run into anything like this with Magura. Maybe it's different for other brands.

I'm curious to hear more about the hydraulic bit - I've never run into this issue.

    Bike stands for eBike maintenance

Hey @sammcneill, we use EVT Lift stands at our shop. Probably a bit overkill for home use, but even without being bolted to the floor, they're sturdy enough for eBikes and the lift is counter-weighted to help get the bike off the ground.

Rear Brake totally out of order

Your shop should be able to replace the brake lever, caliper and hose from their inventory and send you on you on your way then send the defective parts to Magura in exchange for warranty replacements for their inventory. There's no reason why you'd have to wait through the back-end...
