No torque sensing field was to be found, it is weird that this wheel feels so different than the old one. Commutes on this wheel take about 5 minutes longer over 16 miles(50 min. VS 45min.), but I am slowly getting faster...lol.

On a side note, you might want to mark or memorize which way the nut goes when it falls off. I spent an embarrassing 15 minutes trying to get the axle in until I thought about what was going on. I had installed that retaining nut backwards...ugh. Stupid nut....lol

I don't know how common, but my display has gone out as well. It was flickering off and on with no loss of power to the wheel before going blank. The bike still works with the broken display but without the ability to change modes. Awaiting a replacement as we speak, week two.

I use them and like them a lot better than the formula pads. The rear pads broke in nicely but the fronts are a bit noisy in comparison. For the record, these are the alloy backed pads which have a golden backing plate. They are also thicker, so you may need to burp out a little fluid.

Nice to know. I was thinking that was the case but the rep said otherwise, probably because all the mission control functions wouldn't be included...which is what I wanted.

Yup, I believe it is the 200W motor. The new wheel is slower to top speed but with the extra charge I have in reserve I can do a round trip without charging...so that is nice.

Nice find! I wish I could use the app but I called Specialized and the Bluetooth function is not something upgradable for bikes without it :(

Whoa just went through my second set for the front. Not sure about the mileage as my display is out but in my eighth month....eeek. Hopefully the new jagwire semi mettalic pads I have will last longer.

In my experience I riding in the rain going full speed the SKS fender is too short. The fender that mount under the head tube will fit...I think, but like I said, too much water comes of the very front of the tire to make the fender useful. I just run without and grin and embrace the rain...for...

I have found the difference between eco/turbo levels is in acceleration. So at max speed/effort switching between the modes will have little effect from what I have experienced. Glad you're liking the bike!

You pretty much have the understanding down. It doesn't matter how fast you are pedaling but how hard. Also the assist is not dependent on speed till you hit the limit at 27mph/44kph or so for USA bikes or 16mph/25kph for euro specd bikes. Best thing to do is try one at your local dealer...just...

Interesting topic. I have had one broken spoke which broke in the same place as yours...I thought it was because I was hanging the bike by a hook on the rear wheel but this has me wondering. I received a new/reconditioned wheel and have yet to have any spokes break but there very few miles on it...
