Hey Dave- Glad you are checking out the Turbo. I just got an X and am very happy with it so far (only about 2 weeks and 160 miles). To add to what the others said, I don't think it impacts where the assist cuts out (max speed), just the strength of it. I'm still figuring it out for myself...

I went to a couple of shops and neither would discount.

I stupidly forgot to replace the cap and left it sitting in the magnetic spot after I finished charging. I then proceeded to ride 18 miles, much of it on rough dirt and gravel. Miraculously, the cap didn't fall off and was still in place on the magnet! Great design and execution by Specialized!

I just got the odo reset for the first time. I don't think I did anything different than usual. That said, it doesn't both me much because I use Strava for all non-trivial rides and so I have an accurate odometer there.

Well, I tried the app for my commute home and when the battery was at around 54%, it cut power to Eco10 and wouldn't increase the level. I only had about 6 miles to go, so there was plenty of juice left. I suspect it's because I had put in my destination and yet I didn't go the "recommended"...

Strava! There is a separate activity type for e-bike rides, so you can compare yourself against other e-bike cyclists for particular hills, segments, etc. (if you're into that kind of thing).

I'm using a 6s and it finds it without issues. I have only used Mission Control once, though, because it seems to limit power to Eco70. I'd rather be able to choose between Eco and Turbo at will.

After completing a ride (and assuming it will be a day or more before the next ride), is it best to: 1. leave it and don't charge until before the next ride 2. charge to 50% and then wait to fully charge until just before the next ride 3. fully charge and let it sit in the fully charged state...

Just curious if the battery weighs more? I assume it has more little cells in there, but it's probably not much heavier?
