Thanks mate! Super informative! I’ve passed it on to my dad

Transporting Cargo eBikes (specially Dutch style)

My guess would be a Ute/pickup truck with some kind of ramp to roll it up into … but changing your car to accommodate your eBike seems somehow counterintuitive !

New Riese and Müller Delite Review

Stefan, you’re right on most things but I disagree on this. Running a belt and Rohloff on my gravel bike there is just no chance of things getting stuck anywhere in the drive train that would be harder to remove than on a chain / derailleur system. On my eMTB I routinely get bits of grass /...

New Riese and Müller Delite Review

I was unaware of that "on a lean" theory which might explain why I don't have a leak (yet!) on my gravel bike - It does not have a kick stand so I lean it against a wall in my garage so it's pretty upright the entire time.

Transporting Cargo eBikes (specially Dutch style)

Hi, My parents are 70yrs and 69yrs of age - they have two Specialized Como eBikes about 5yrs old now. They got a dog mid-pandemic and now really want to ride with him but he's a bit too big for basket on the front of the bike type riding. I've shown them the R&M Load/Packster style e-Cargo...

New Riese and Müller Delite Review

yes, spot on - the "creatively" named Port Hills is what I referred to above - not a mountain but definitely steep in places. Not Baldwin Street steep (my daughter is flatting just down the road from there on North Road) but still steep enough you'd want some low gears if you're not going to go...

New Riese and Müller Delite Review

There are big mountains in NZ but I don't ride in those specifically. There are some "hills" near me, around 350-400m elevation with biggest incline 15% in places. SC2 charges up there fine on the road - it's incredibly stable coming down off those too - hit 70kph downhill and felt fine given...

New Riese and Müller Delite Review

I’ve been waiting for that …. My Rohloff on my gravel bike has no leaking (touch wood) after 6 months and nowhere near the noise during the “break in period” people warned me about … it’s been bomb proof. It’s also super easy to switch out for a puncture repair compared to my other derailleur...

New Riese and Müller Delite Review

I’m interested that you ride at times in no boost at all. I’ve only done that when touring and needing to squeeze every bit of battery out of it. I’ve largely defaulted to riding in Sport mode most of the time around town. Clocking up a lot more km during the last month after losing my job so...

    Enviolo shifter tips or tricks?

So an interesting update to this and sharing of the benefit of all and learning etc. I took my bike to the LBS where I bought it, but they could not service it for 10 days, so I went to my "backup" and they did it this morning. $10x2 for replacement shifter cables, $25 for 15min labour, $45 for...

    Superdelite purchase

Thanks mate - I’ve got a few offers coming my way so will be back in the land of the employed soon enough I expect. Gave the Specialized another blast today - it’s a tremendous machine.

    Enviolo shifter tips or tricks?

Hi Guys, I got my first puncture in my rear tire of my SC2 after 8700km today - a very slow leak. I’d previously had grief just practicing removing the rear tire so I watched a bunch of videos this time: Enviolo hub wheel changing videos: All very helpful - got the wheel off/on and...

    Superdelite purchase

I’ve just lost my job at Microsoft as part of their global cutbacks of 10,000 employees so I’ve got time on my hands right now and riding the R&M more than ever and still love getting on it every time. Put a pannier on the rear yesterday and added a couple of tennis rackets, balls, drink bottles...

    Superdelite purchase

For what it’s worth, I’ve gone down a similar pathway and have a couple of e-bikes (R&M SuperCharger 2 as a daily ride / commuter / car replacement) and a Specialized Turbo Levo eMTB) and recently added a gravel / touring bike for longer, unpowered adventures. I’m not familiar with the KOGA...

What mileage are you getting on your Multicharger 750wh battery?

Maybe ditch the extra weight for a couple of rides and see if your range matches the calculator ?

A Few Questions from a Prospective Riese and Müller Buyer

Sooo glad you’re enjoying it. Really sounds like excellent dealer service too which is a must when you’re buying a bike this expensive!

Changing crank length and primary gear reduction on Rohloff/Gates equipped 2021 Homage GT with Class-1 CX Gen-4 motor.

So an update to this: Enviolo confirmed there is no Gates pinion/sprocket compatible below 22T so the biggest benefit I get is from a 24T to 22T… so a marginal increase (and they doubted whether this would support nice cadence at 45kph) R&M on the other hand wanted absolutely nothing to do...

Congrats Jay Kay - awesome motivation. And shows that eBikes are not to be scoffed at in terms of still providing a great healthy exercise option

Changing crank length and primary gear reduction on Rohloff/Gates equipped 2021 Homage GT with Class-1 CX Gen-4 motor.

Thanks @santacruzdave ! I note it says minimum sprocket ratio for a Bosch Gen 2 (I have a Gen 4 I think) is 0.8 … not sure what that ratio is … to the chainring? I’ll drop them an email and see if they have any recommendations Thanks for sharing Sam

Changing crank length and primary gear reduction on Rohloff/Gates equipped 2021 Homage GT with Class-1 CX Gen-4 motor.

Hi @BMWzenRider and others that are smarter than me..... I was hoping you might be able to provide some expertise here. I had my SuperCharger 2 serviced today and I specifically asked them to check if the Enviolo was still in full "overdrive" as my SC2 is a high speed and my cadence to...
