New ebikes coming from Greg LeMond

Are there plans for a dysentery catchment bag under the seat? Asking for a friend.

Can somebody point me to display codes?

The Lectric Ebike Manual has all the codes and settings for current models, pages 23-26. I attach here too.

what is the most comfortable and safe helmut you've used

Ebikes are still in that newish, undefined, middle-ground transportation niche, overlapping in varying degrees between regular pedestrian, analog bicycling, and power mopeds. The 3 speed classes of ebiking, and the consumer/local law selection of the class they plan to ride in most often...

    eHorn option

I do know the kamikaze profile, I give them a huge buffer, even inside the aisles of Walmart. On the low concern scale: overtaking 1 bike or 1 pedestrian = a polite ding on bicycle bell, a slight reduction in pace, being prepared to stop, and then go where-ever they don't go. For 2 or more...

    Your whip looks great.

Good upgrade research and case study...just ordered one of these too.

    11 -34 freewheel

@ebikester please note there is a limit on how big to go on the diameter of the crank's chainring. The chainring will need to rotate on its fixed axis, and its teeth need to clear the rear chain stay while transfering rotational pedal energy through the chain. Check the specs and measure the...

    eHorn option

We definitely encounter similar checked-out beings here too. It's a miracle such a flawed strategies of self-preservation have survived them to adulthood. Maybe why that's why they call it blind luck!?

    eHorn option

Love it. Thanks! Thinking about the Rad Rover light for the Lectric.

    eHorn option

Thanks @ki11a, I've been looking for something like this. A proper street horn. Cruising at 25mph, a couple pings on the little pixie bell has been fine as a polite "rate of closure" courtesy before overtaking slower analog cyclists, but not cutting it as a safety "heads up" for inattentive...

    Ebike parking brake

For years (decades?), ATVs and Quads have come from factories with a wedge for the rear brake lever that clicks into that gap as a parking brake for manual crank-pull startups. Seems like a no-brainer adaptation for cargo bikes. Until then, keep eating your broccoli!

dolphin headlight mount to front basket

@Mehwish from my novice perspective, multi-material seems to be for those itching for a nozzle jam, and a failed print job. In fact, I have a horrendous ABS nozzle jam to clear right now from mixing filaments without a wipe tower. Going forward I am going to just set it and forget it with PLA...

what is the most comfortable and safe helmut you've used

There are many cycling settings, each with crash probabilities and scenarios. Aggressively ripping huge MTB aerials might call for a BMX-style full head and chin protection helmet. Winter commuting might favour a regular winter hat/toque with a Hövding full head and neck airbag, knowing that a...

what is the most comfortable and safe helmut you've used

@indianajo, I hear you. I've gone over the bars my fair share of times, but thankfully never as badly as your reported chin experience. Ouch! I don't think anybody willingly designs their own wipeout, and that is why they are called accidents. I'm glad to see the geometry of the latest...

    Lectric XP for a child?

Max top speed, throttle sensitivity, max power output are all individual toggles available via controller interface using the display buttons. There's a good video here.

Bad speed sensor in my Lectric XP

@Alan S will Lectric not accept back the lousy one to refurbish themselves? Maybe EBR vets @AHicks @harryS might have some guidance or suggestions? Any branding inside the hubmotor to identify it's part catalogue?

Motorcycle tires on the stock XP rims?

If looking for slick or semi-slick street tire ideas, there are a few options. We are running 20x4.0 retro whitewall VeeTire Speedsters on our Lectric. Kenda makes a 20x4.25" slick tire called Kraze, that looks more like a performance street motorcycle tire..about $40 each. Schwin/Sunlite...

    11 -34 freewheel

@ebikester in addition to the 11t freewheel at hub, you might consider upgrading the crank sprocket itself to one with more teeth. Going from 14t to 11t on the rear freewheel is a big 21% mechanical improvement, whereas, going from a 52 tooth crank to say a 56 is a more modest and expensive...

    11 -34 freewheel

@ebikester if tackling DIY, I would recommend watching some quick online how to videos. Removing 14t-28, and installing 11t to whatever 7 speed DNP EPOCH freewheel, needs a special splined FR1.3 Park Tool, a chain whip tool is optional - an old rag will suffice, some replacement cable zip ties...
