Just an aside....Does the end of your battery look like this? My Liv Valle + had a loose battery housing with a rattle which I fixed but the contact points on the battery are turned in. I am tempted to straighten these but not confident that I should. Thoughts? I did buy the dielectric grease...

2020 : Our Rides in Words, Photos & Videos

Stephan, any damage to the Monster after tossing it over the log? 😬. (I am inspired to take more ‘chances’ with my Intrigue.) What a wonderful read... at times I held my breathe and laughed out loud! 😁🚴‍♀️

Is a class 3 ebike adjusted to go only 20 mph class 2?

I would not rush out and buy a class 2 bike. On trails, we are more likely to earn the favor of the USFS if the bike is capped at 20mph without a throttle. (Class 1) For now, they seem to lump all ebikes into the motorized vehicle category. I do not desire to ride dirt roads or trails with...

You are looking “stealth“ Stephan... (and supposedly the camera adds 10 pounds. 🤣) Glad your helmet is bright red! Happy Birthday 🥳🎂 🍨. 🚴‍♀️

    eMTB Options For 2024

Yes, “worth every cent”... note that the Liv Pro 2 has Sram Eagle shifters which for me are uncomfortable because they require thumb use only and only shift one direction... the Liv Pro 1 is a little more expensive but the Shimano SLX shifters are exquisite. You can shift up with thumb or down...

    eMTB Options For 2024

I agree with @Browneye. My Liv Valle e+ has front suspension only and I added a Creek Crane Thudbuster. With my new Liv Intrigue full-suspension “maestro“ the choice is simple. No more back or neck pain over tree roots or pavement potholes. The difference is incredible. 🚴‍♀️

    eMTB Options For 2024

I thought you lost auto assist, Stephen, with your Evo display “upgrade”? Anyway, I am going to guess you will not like auto assist on dirt trails.... be careful. Anxious to hear your opinion! 🤣 🚴‍♀️

How did you name your e-bike?

These radar should come standard on road bikes. Even on steep curves on paved descents, the radar picks up cars from well behind me. Glad to hear you have a good one. 🚴‍♀️

How did you name your e-bike?

That is a dropper seat post, Marci... so easy to get started from a stop I have only used it a few times while riding but doubt I’ll use it much... 😁

How did you name your e-bike?

I agree Steve. It is a chameleon. I am starting to like the color(s). I ride dressed up in bright attire when riding on the road because it isn’t very visible. I also use a Garmin radar which lets me know if cars are coming up behind me. That being said, I had my heart set on blue! The...

Stephan I sent you a post that I don’t think you received. I rode the same hills last night... 11.4 miles. Full battery and tried leaving it in turbo most of the way. Battery ride Control display says I used 20%, the app says 21%. Seems a bit too ‘good’ but there you have it! 🚴‍♀️

How did you name your e-bike?

Stephan I rode the same hills yesterday on a full battery leaving it in turbo most of the time. 11.4 miles and 21% of the battery was used according to ride Control app. Ride Control unit said 1/5 used. 🚴‍♀️

And you are having fun, Stephan, while getting healthy! Even better. (I really enjoy your posts. Doubt I will ever visit your country but it is fun to learn about beautiful Poland.) I used to be a distance runner... three accidents ... needed a way to get cardio. I spent many months healing from...
