    Chain Noise?

Thanks Rocky for your reply. Wow, 7k miles! Amazing. Nope, no warranty coverage, the chain and bearing, I was told, are normal wear and tear items, I guess like brake pads. The cost was reasonable so I didn't get into it. But the unfortunate part was that it did not fix the noise. It was...

    Chain Noise?

So I've had my 2016 Full7 Bosch powered Haibike for about a year and 1400 miles of total enjoyment! Only issue is what seems like chain noise. It used to be so quiet, the only noise being the rubber hitting the road. But over the last several hundred miles it has developed a noise that only...

Want to get into ebikes but I am a little confused now

Appreciate the FS as our streets can be as harsh as the trails! With Haibikes it used to be XDuro meant Bosch and Sduro meant Yamaha, but this year that is not the case. Not sure how bikes are fitted with levels of components, you gotta do your homework with research and test drives.

Want to get into ebikes but I am a little confused now

The Bosch Performance Line models will give max speed of 28mph assist, the CX models are limited to 20mph. Haibikes choice of names and model numbers for their bikes is confusing, and seems to have changed this year to add to the confusion. But that are beautifully made machines. The welds...

Want to get into ebikes but I am a little confused now

......last years models.... I'm with Rich c above, Haibikes are very well sorted out. I have the Bosch but I think the Yamaha is pretty similar, maybe a bit more punch but not as smooth response.... again, I have the Bosch and only know about the Yamaha from what I have read. The "symbiotic"...

    Chain Life

Wow, that is good news about the chain. Would you know if the KMC x10e EPT chain. the same as the KMC x10e Sport chain? Also a good endorsement for Squirt, I'll look for it. Thanks!

rich c, yes, I did replace the SES bearing but it was the chain making the noise as best as I could tell. It is really hard to isolate sounds as you are zipping along. I did remove and inspect the SES side guard and found that it was not rubbing there. I try to keep all the drivetrain...

    Chain Life

My bike is powered by Bosch Performance Line. Seems you all have gotten many more miles on your chain. I didn't have any issues with the chain and derailleur but constant noise from the chain when pedaling. At first I would clean and lube the chain and it would quiet down but after maybe 50...

    Chain Life

I found that my Haibike FullSeven chain had stretched about one links worth over about 1200 miles. Mix of hills, bike paths, a little off road. It started to make noise despite being clean and well lubed. So I went into my local eBike store (literally around the corner from my house, how lucky...

    Fullseven XDURO S Pro 2016

I also got the itch for the 500W battery but at around $900 I think I'll hang in there with the 400W on the bike. What I have done is to learn to use the power and the gears in as smooth and efficient manner possible, thus extending the range. The range will probably drop as the holidays roll in...

    Fullseven XDURO S Pro 2016

I also really like my 2016 FullSeven RX. Outfitted with good components, shifts really well, brakes are phenomenal, Bosch system works flawlessly, smooth, responsive, plenty of power and I am happy to have the 28mph capability occasionally, typically on roads, not trails. Just hit 1100 miles...

    Bosch Battery replacement options

Has anyone ever purchased an aftermarket battery to replace / supplement their Bosch battery? There are some on Alibaba but it would not make me confident unless someone has some experience with this! I want an extra battery but $900+ is very expensive for me. Thanks!

Should bikes with the Bosch 500wh battery and motor have the same approximate range?

On my FullSeven with 400watt battery, my weight at 185lbs, 30lbs tire pressures, and just a few hills, but usually some 10mph headwinds, I usually get around 35 miles, averaging 15-18mph, using mostly tour, some eco, some sport and occasionally turbo. I don't ever drain the battery either, but...

How many miles have you travelled on the e-bike(s) that you currently own?

650 miles, all for fun, on my 6 month old Haibike XDuro FullSeven SRX. Love the bike, think ebikes are terrific, have gotten 4 of my friends to get them, all good!

Aftermarket Batteries for Bosch Coming in 2015

I kinda feel that to try a aftermarket battery could mess with the electronic circuitry of your bike. It would certainly void your warranty if you still have one. I guess for now if I need a Bosch for my Haibike I'll have to bite the bullet, or try to wait out a possible better battery from...
