It turns out one needs to pair the Nyon with the Nyon controller, otherwise you'll get an error message and not be able to proceed with the hookup. So still waiting for the Nyon controller.

Definitely not from the pivot points. Noise goes away when I stop pedaling, is constant otherwise.

I have read here from some earlier posts that the firmware update made their Nyon unusable and the need to send it in to Bosch. Perhaps that has been fixed by now as you didn't mention any issues. I wonder if we here in the states have any issues with the Nyon as to how we'll get it serviced...

That's great to hear Alaskan. I thought all maps, gps, etc. had to go through the smartphone and then to the Nyon. From what I can gather one could set up a European account somehow and then download the app. You are right in that one can't just send the app as an attachment and then install it...

Thank you for the heads up on the warranty. I've already ordered the pieces so I am committed. If there was an issue with Bosch I suppose I could put the Intuvia system back on. But I will check into it and post back here if I learn anything.
