    Lishui LSW784-45-3M vs LSW1106-58-10F Controller

Since you guys are discussing Lishui controllers, any idea where someone can buy one preferably the LSW1155-29M a 48V controller with max current 22A, rated current 11A, low voltage protection 40V and throttle adj voltage 1.2v-4.4V ???? Or something equivalent from another company? I google...

Looking to buy 1st ebike - $1200 range

If the price was still $999 like it was originally, no question about it I would buy it again. But after 2 price increases and still no LCD display as standard (which IMO is a required purchase as the only LCD display that will work is a Lishui display, not a Bafang display, due to the Lishui...

Looking to buy 1st ebike - $1200 range

Just a heads up that the Ride1up 500 went up another $100 to $1200 so with rack & fenders, lcd display you are looking at $1350. The choice between the Ride1up 500 (25mph) and the Aventon 500 (28mph, hydraulic brakes, +$50 suspension fork) is getting harder than ever.

    Ride1Up E-Bikes

Assembly is indeed very simple (video below). The necessary tool for assembly is included with the bike (a hex wrench). In addition the rear axle nuts are 18mm if you need to check them for tightness or to remove the rear wheel to repair a flat, and everyone should have a hex tool kit with them...

2019 Rad Rover range / speed on throttle only

Can you be more specific about "simple modification for when you don't like cut in/out feel of PAS"?? What exactly does the LCD3 or LCD8 changes to make that possible?

    Ride1Up E-Bikes

Since this was on my todo list, and your question pushed me to do further investigating, I found the following pinout difference between Bafang and Kunteng/Lishui HiGo 5 pins connectors (see picture below). Checking the higo on the Ride1up bike that goes to the display I determined that the 48V...

    Ride1Up E-Bikes

No it did not. I did not have the time to research why it did not work. Could be that it needs a pin rewire rather just a straight pass through...

Who spent a lot on their E-bike? Was it worth it?

That's kind of a loaded question. Cause IMO, I very much doubt that you will find anyone paying any price for an ebike, that was not a lemon to begin with or had nothing but mechanical/electrical troubles, to admit that it was not worth it. "Worth" is all in the eye of the beholder no matter...

Ebike suggestion in the range 800-1800$ for a guy in his thirties (first ebike)

Since I have a Ride1Up, the throttle of the Ride1up will take you to 100% speed (24-25mph when battery is full) no matter what level you have on the display. And IMO that is the correct way the throttle should work and be programed on all ebikes. I had two other ebikes that limited the throttle...

The problem of the "disposable" ebike

Maybe you got a lemon. My Bosch dishwasher going on 21 years and still works and cleans good as new (never had to service or replace any parts). My front load washer is a 19 year old Kenmore HE3. Sears replaced the pump under warranty that went out within the first 2 years and been running great...

Is this a problem with my Haibike or is it me?

If it is slipping/skipping, it may be as simple as adjusting the derailleur as the chain may be slightly off center on the gear. Cause under heavy load (like climbing a very steep hill) that could happen.

    Help buying mid priced (1-2K) 2nd e-bike

If class 3 raw speed and hydraulic brakes are important to you look also at the Aventon Pace 500 and Aventon Pace 500 Step-Through for $1399. Advantages include true class 3 speed of 28mph, better gearing (11-36T 8 speed), good range with ubiquitous Reention Dorado 48V 11.6Ah battery (you can...

THE NEW RPB CITY STEP THRU - CITY & TRAILS TOO

You may also want to look at the Aventon Pace 500 Step-thru that is $1399 (add $100 for Planet Bike Cascadia bike fenders, Ibera Bike Rack and 400 lumen USB rechargeable headlight and tail light) and is a true class 3 ebike at 28mph, has hydraulic brakes, adjustable stem and comes in 2 different...

Bam Power being sued by Rad Power

I agree. But as I said this is just a few days work to get it changed. And because of this lawsuit, even though I never knew of BAMPower before, I do now as well as thousands others. So all they managed to do is give them free advertising. A judge would want to see how much impact BamPower had...

Bam Power being sued by Rad Power

But how much RadPower has copyright on their ebikes if all they do is buy already China made bikes to resell them, something that anyone else can do as well??? I mean even the rack mounts are the same. I mean these are identical bikes. Or is the lawsuit mainly about the website? Cause a tech IT...

    Ride1up roadster ghost

Here is the most recent Aventon Pace 500 review by Court... Also be aware that the Aventon has a lot more work to put together than the Ride1up... here are the instructions for the Aventon. By comparison the Ride1up was a child's play to put it together and very fast (10-15min).

BTW, why in the hell Ride1up still does NOT have it's own section in EBR where all these threads could be under one Ride1up banner is beyond me.

    Ride1up roadster ghost

Since I have a Ride1up 500 mtb I can certify that the bike gets to 24-25mph on throttle alone with a full battery. To 26mph barely and only if you change the chainring to 48t and the freewheel to 11T-whatever (like I have) and you pedal hard with a full battery. Have no idea why Ride1up changed...
