Has anyone replaced the clutch gear assembly on their CC(S,X)?

Ya it's the Bafang SWX02 (does anyone know the rpm version?). I've opened up the one from my CC already, but never got around trying to fix it since at the time I decided to get the CCX. The hardest part was removing the screws holding the cover down. They were philips head & I ended having to...

Has anyone replaced the clutch gear assembly on their CC(S,X)?

Having over 4k miles on my CCX I've been experiencing some situations where the motor isn't engaging & when it does there a gear grinding noise. It's not common yet, but I see it as a sign that it will quit entirely sometime in the future which I expect since my original CC went through two...

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

I did put a bit of grease on the threads.

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

Just the allen wrench and a chaining nut tool. No need to remove crank. If you're lucky you might not need the chainring nut tool (if you can loosen the chainring bolt without the nut spinning on you) or you might trying improvising with a large flat screwdriver.

    Odometer reset to zero?

Mine reset itself at some point too. Since I mainly use it for daily commuting I have a good idea of the mileage on it at least. Should've brought over the basic Cateye cyclecomputer I used on my CC over.

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

That's why I advocate the narrow wide solution as it's specifically designed to address chain drop on 1x drivetrains whereas a chainguard is more to protect the teeth from impacts, but as a side affect can help keep the chain from jumping off if the gap between it & the ring is small enough. The...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Have your charger plugged in the outlet before plugging it into the battery. I noticed/heard arcing if I plugged into the battery before plugging the charger. This is with the OEM charger on the CCX.

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

Yea I stuck with the stock 52 teeth. Works well for me in the flat midwest.

New Seat Post for Juiced ccs2

The Suntour is a good bang for buck. There is also the Satori that's a bit cheaper & easier to get & I've read works just as well. I stuck with the Suntour though because I like it's lower profile look.

Replaced CCX brake pads after 6 months

Yea it's pretty flat in the midwest. 3400 miles is only because I procrastinated and rode them to the bare metal. They should've been replaced at 3000. You should naturally use the front brake more anyway since more stopping power. And as mention I think the easiest way to to replace the pads is...

Deckas 130BCD on EBay around $35.

Any chain drop solutions on the CCX?

Swap the stock chain ring for a narrow wide chaining. This will fix the chain drops. The only situation where I've experienced a drop with this solution was a worn stretched chain.

Replaced CCX brake pads after 6 months

Don't run them this low because it messes with the rotor and as shown below throws off the piston alignment which means one side pushes the rotor against the insides of the caliper wearing away bit of the body. These are a bit of a pain to replace as wheel removal is necessary though protip it's...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I got rid of most of the fender rub by pulling on the wire in the middle bending it so it bulged out.

CCS and Rip Current going out of production without replacements CONFIRMED

Perhaps they're moving to a new more integrated battery solution? About the only think left I can see them improving on (besides better quality rear rim) plus a main battery rear brake light. After that bluetooth connectivity. The you have a poor man's Stromer.

    New CCX - Love it

No brainer a suspension seatpost make a significant difference in comfort. Satori & Suntour make the best bang for buck models at under $100. I'm at 6 months & around 3400 miles on my CCX & recently notice possible cracks at the spokes holes on the rim on the rear wheel. I kind of expect this...

    Is a CCX noisy?

I don't think it's a torque arm because it's not keyed to the axle.

    Is a CCX noisy?

Glad to hear the issue was simple fix. I'm gonna say it's not necessary as I've kept it off on my CC & now my CCX to make wheel removal less of a hassle. No issue in several thousand miles. The only purpose it appears to serve to to keep the wheel from falling out and that will not happen if...

    CCX intermittent power

270 miles since I got my CCX battery back two weeks ago & has been working fine so far without strapping it down. I believe the CCS has a smaller format downtube like my CC for which I did eventually have to strap down the battery and worked fine for thousands of mile before I got the CCX.

    Is a CCX noisy?

I don't find it to be noisy, but you can definitely hear a whirring sound especially in higher assist levels. A lot of the sound is probably the internal gears.
