How to start on a steep hill

There was another tbread about a Halls sensor that could be added but you have to disassemble and solder it in. you could buy a $200 model aftermarket from some suppliers that is smooth. I am seriously considering just removing mine as it makes the bike illegal to ride most places and it’s...

Known Issues & Problems with Watt Wagons Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I have not spoke with Pushkar about this particular situation but I have had lengthy conversations with him about the issues with designing and getting the frames delivered., I own a business. I have done R and D more than a few times and I know how expensive it is. I spent over $100,000 in six...

Known Issues & Problems with Watt Wagons Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Your original bike cannot be made. Pushkar spent a great deal of time and money trying but it is just not possible. He offered you a Hydra but you refused. He is now trying to refund you your money. Do you have any idea how lucky you are he has not gone bankrupt and all your money would be gone...

    Helios refund

I’m gonna put my own two cents in here. When someone promises me something and then they don’t come through on that promise I don’t necessarily jump to the conclusion they are lied to me. There can always be a lot of other factors that creep in between someone’s promises and their inability to...

    Did anybody mullet their Hydra?

This is just my opinion. The 29“ wheels are just not as nimble and playful. They are certainly faster in a straight line and over large ruts etc. if you’re a very experienced rider you can probably make use of them but if you’re just an average rider not totally going for it I would stick with a...

    Questions about the Hydra

I think all this is supply chain oriented. Many months ago there were issues with getting the frames. There was a dust up up between Pushkar and the frame manufacturer over large shipping fee increases as well as other things that had been previously negotiated and contracts had been signed. The...

    The "UNOFFICIAL" Hydra FAQ thread....

in my opinion. If you can’t mount a 6” dropper post low enough so that it retracts and extends completely at your desired highest riding position your frame is likely too large. Riders with an inseam over 34” can benefit from a 7” or 8” dropper.

Mezzer Pro Forks sitting low in travel

This is Just an FYI I noticed my forks were not turning to the top position when I got off the bike. This was also causing more pedal strikes.. They were actually sitting down 1” in the travel. at some point I had added too much air into one of the legs without the other leg being pressured...

I am nearly the same size Lzthrs. His inseam is 2 inches longer than mine which would mean his torso is shorter and I ride both sizes equally well. The frames on Wattwagons bikes run large and long compared to something like a Turbo Levo. Putting a 40mm rise bars and a 7 or 8 inch dropper he can...

It’s difficult to say from the pictures. Typically the large does not have a shock lined up straight perfect with the rear stays like this one. I looked at my bikes and the large it is 19 3/4” From BB center to to of painted frame under seat post clamp. And Medium is 17 1/2”. I am 6 feet 2 1/2...
