    Front Basket? (For a cat)

The cat in question LOVES riding in the car and loves coming to work with me. All I have to do is dangle his harness near the front door and he comes running. And the moment I put on the harness he starts to purr. I put him in the car, remove the leash from the harness, and he sits up on my...

    Front Basket? (For a cat)

Now that certainly does look interesting! They have a Britch front or rear universal rack which might just fit. I'll try to get accurate specs with the dimensions and then measure the bike. And if that rack could fit I think it would be pretty easy to adapt some kind of basket to it.

    Front Basket? (For a cat)

That front carrier looks really good, but... my bike not only has front (and rear) fenders, but also a front headlight which is mounted at that cross-over piece between the forks and right above the fender. I don't think this will fit, unfortunately. But the Canadian distributor lists some...

    Front Basket? (For a cat)

That Wald basket looks like ends of the legs go through the front axle... is that right? But the two brackets at the top certainly won't fit on my handlebars. Plus my bike DOES have a front suspension fork. The search for a solution is still on.

    Front Basket? (For a cat)

Thanks. My bike is at home (I'm at work, with the cat!) and I'll have to check again when I get home but I'm pretty sure there are no bosses on the front of the bike for attaching a rack. But if I could find one, it would be a good solution.

    Front Basket? (For a cat)

I'm trying to find a front basket that can easily be attached and removed that I could fit on my Giant Explore E+1 GTS... Everything I've seen so far, mounts to the handlebars somehow and I really don't think that would work on my bike. There are just TOO MANY things already on the...

    Giant E+4

Pedal faster/harder??? Seriously, there are various ways to override the built in speed limit on these bikes... some of them are very easy and involve either moving or replacing the magnets for the speed sensor, and others (which are the better solution) require removing the motor...

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

From the photo and the description, it's pretty obvious (at least to me) that you need a 1/2" driver. It'll fit on the driver exactly as a socket would.

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

That thing looks interesting! (I'd tried and failed to install a BikeSpeedRS on my 2019 Explore E+1.) I didn't see a contact us option on the site you linked to... They list some Giant bikes, but nothing about the Explore. I'd like to ask them. About that "four easiest gears" thing... is...

    New one from France

Geez!!!! That might make someone uh, reconsider doing that. :)

    New one from France

Welcome to the forum! Bienvenu! What's a Bolton kit? Is it something specific for Rad bikes? Do you have to change the motor to get higher output? Battery? I can't stand the 32kph limit we have here in Canada on e-bikes and I imagine that the EU 25kph limit is maddeningly low. Heck, you...

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

I thought you were saying there was a better display than the EVO that I didn't know about. And I guess what confused me was the way Giant lists under "display" that the bikes come with the RideControl One. I hadn't realized that the RC One doesn't really "display" anything, in the sense that...

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

I have a 2019 Explore E+1 GTS and I tried (and failed) to install the BikeSpeed RS device. As far as I can see, all those units that maintain accurate speed and distance displays, are about the same size and require the same effort to install. The reason I failed, (I believe) might be because...

That's still the best display Giant offers. Are you implying there is a better display?

    New Riese Müller E-bike owner

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new bikes! They sound terrific. Let's see some photos! And yes, there are lots of members here from Europe, but I'm from Canada.

Giant Quick-e 2018 S5 only providing assistance up to 14MPH

I had heard (a few months ago) that there was a way to put the bike in "demo" mode, which supposedly limits the speed. I wonder if maybe your last update caused something like that to be set. You might try searching for demo mode or something similar to see if that helps. Other than that, I...

    Problem with latest firmware update

Upper right of the main forum page is "Post Thread". You cannot be reading a message thread at the time, or your only option is to add a reply to the thread you're viewing. And that "new conversation" thing is for PRIVATE mail, directed to someone here. Other than that, sorry, but I can't...

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

He's in Europe and the bikes there are restricted even more than ours are here in Canada. Here we've got 32kph but there it's something like 25. Almost walking speed. :)

Purchase advice : hesitating between two bikes

It's too late now (since you've ordered) but one thing I learned is that the bike geometry is different among different models of bike, so that a M (or L) frame size in one model is not necessarily the same in another model. So, for the benefit of anyone else thinking of ordering a bike, I just...

Purchase advice : hesitating between two bikes

Congratulations! I'm late to this thread and was just about to chime in with my thoughts and recommendation for the Giant when I saw your last post saying you'd decided, and ordered. Good for you! I WISH the E+1 GTS would be available in North America, and I really don't understand the logic...
