    HT-1000 First Crash

It was the bike's fault ?

    HT-1000 First Crash

They are much more forgiving than the skinnier tires. Less deflection by a large margin . I had a single speed 18lb Trek with 28x700 tires and it was scary to ride on these streets. With its long wheelbase, weight and the tires, it's a urban assault bike !

    HT-1000 First Crash

That's the kind of conditions I deal with quite often. My 3.5x26 tires have saved me several times. Glad you are OK.

New Juggernaut Ultra Beast - Unable to Program - Display cable fitting is a different shape

I believe you, but I have no use for throttles on bicycles. With 1500 watts , acceleration from a dead stop is no problem.

New Juggernaut Ultra Beast - Unable to Program - Display cable fitting is a different shape

The only thing I didn't like about my Ultra was the throttle response. Too jumpy. I took it off and don't miss it a bit.

My Hyrda will be black, but convince me otherwise

What color choices do you have ? I would vote orange. I love orange and it's highly visible.

New Juggernaut Ultra Beast - Unable to Program - Display cable fitting is a different shape

It's why I went to a 52 tooth chainring. I kept trying to shift to a gear that wasn't there. I might go down to a 50 next time.

Roshan, Is the programming "different " on the early bikes ?

    Bafang Ultra Recommended Chain

I rarely use anything but the top three gears. I'd be happy with a four speed gear set. When crossing a street, I just bump it up to 5 and go. I probably stress the gears more than necessary but it hasn't been a problem in four years.

    Bafang Ultra Recommended Chain

I would just plan on replacing the chain and gear set every 800-1000 miles. It's what I do. I have a nine speed Biktrix Ultra .

New Juggernaut Ultra Beast - Unable to Program - Display cable fitting is a different shape

I really don't understand all the complaints, other than Roshan's early tuning really worked or I'm just not that sensitive as some. Maybe, the fact that I ride in the top fours gears all the time. Is it some noticeable in the lower gears ?

Does it exist..??? A fat-tire bike (generally for sandy, or snowy roads) with the power of a serious e-MTB (apt for steep hills, off-roads) ..??

This was 4 years ago ago, so it wasn't Bosch's latest motor. But it was like comparing a six cylinder in the old days to a big block. No comparison, really and the Felt Outfitter was several thousand dollars more.

So, Biktrix can't add their special sauce anymore ?

They are great on the street if you want a big, long wheelbase stable bike. They need the torque of the Bafang Ultra to perform , IMO.

New Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra Beast - Unable to Program - Display cable fitting is a different shape

Are you sure you want to make any changes ? Still happy with stock settings on my 4 year old Ultra. But, I'm a leave well enough alone type of guy.

What's it like to ride a fat bike?

I absolutely hated the Kenda knobbies on the street. 26x3.5 Vees solved that .
